Before you can register customers for a class, the class must be added to the calendar. Once it’s scheduled, you can either register customers yourself or let them book online.
This applies to workshops as well. Workshops are a series of class sessions that a customer joins over time and repeats until the workshop ends. Adding any attendees registers them for all workshop sessions. Workshops have a Repeat icon to show they're repeating on the calendar.
Prerequisites: You must have created at least one class or workshop in your settings.
To schedule a class on your calendar:
-
Go to the Calendar
screen, then select the calendar you want to view.
-
Go to the day you want to book, select a timeslot, and then select New Class.
-
Select Select Class, then choose a class from the list.
-
Select Select Instructor, then choose the instructor running the class.
-
Optionally, enter the following information about the class:
-
Date: The date and time of the class.
-
In-House Capacity: The maximum number of attendees who can join the class, or enter "0" if the class is not offered at the employee's location.
-
Live Stream Capacity: If you have Vagaro Live Stream, you can enter the maximum number of attendees who can join the class online, or enter "0" if the class is not offered online.
Important
Customers will be required to pay a 100% deposit if they book a virtual class session online.
-
Duration: How long the class will last. If the class has a Cleanup Time set, also enter how much time is required to clean up before the next session, then select Apply.
-
Resource: If resources are required for the class, you'll need to select one. A resource on Vagaro is a bookable item, such as a room, chair, or piece of equipment, that can be assigned to appointments to manage availability and prevent double booking.
-
