Reschedule your customers' appointments directly from the Calendar by dragging and dropping them to another time slot or editing the appointment to change the date and service provider.
Prerequisites: Requires a scheduled appointment on the Calendar.
In Vagaro, simply drag and drop an appointment to another spot on your Calendar to reschedule an appointment. This feature works well when the customer requests to move up their appointments by an hour. If the customer has multiple appointments scheduled for that day, you can move them all at the same time.
To drag and drop an appointment to another time slot:
To reschedule the appointment:

Go to the Calendar.

Long press the appointment to be rescheduled, then drop it in another time slot on the Calendar.

Optionally, if the customer has multiple appointments scheduled on that day, toggle the appointments to be moved.
Note
Selecting multiple appointments will move them with the appointment you dropped. For example, let's say you move an appointment two hours forward and select the customer's remaining appointments for that day. Both the original appointment you moved and the appointments you selected will be moved two hours ahead.

Choose whether to Notify Customer of the appointment change:

If you moved only one appointment, choose whether to Notify Customer or Don't Notify Customer.

If the customer has multiple appointments, toggle Notify Customer on or off, then select Move Selected.

To reschedule the appointment:

Go to the Calendar.

Select and hold the appointment to be rescheduled, then drag and drop it to another time slot on the Calendar.

Optionally, if the customer has multiple appointments scheduled on that day, select the checkboxes for the appointments to be moved.
Note

Optionally, toggle off Notify Customer if you don't want to let the customer know of the change; otherwise, depending on your customer's notification settings, they'll receive a push, email, and text notification about the change.

Select Confirm to move the appointment, or select Undo Move to revert any changes.
Use the Move tool to reschedule your appointment to another date or service provider. If the customer has multiple appointments scheduled that day, you can move the appointments together.
To change change an appointment's service provider?
To reschedule the appointment:

Go to the Calendar.

Find the appointment, then select it.

Select Move.

Optionally, if the customer has multiple appointments scheduled that day, toggle the appointments to be moved, then select Move Selected.

Update the appointment:

Optionally, make any additional changes to the service being performed and the service provider.

Near the bottom of the screen, select the Date and choose the new appointment date.

Select Next. The list of all available appointments for that day will be displayed.

Select the time slot to be booked.

Add any additional appointment details, and then select Save.
Note

To reschedule the appointment:

Go to the Calendar.

Find the appointment, then select it.

Select Move.

Optionally, if the customer has multiple appointments scheduled that day, select the checkboxes for the appointments to be moved, then select Confirm.

Choose a new date or service provider for the appointment:

Optionally, make changes to the service being performed and the service provider.

Next to the Search button, select the date list and choose the new appointment date.
Note
Appointments moved simultaneously can only be moved to the same day.

Select Search. The list of all available appointments for that day will be displayed.

Select the time slot to be booked.

Add any additional appointment details, and then select Save.
