Adding cleanup time at the end of classes gives your instructors time to tidy up and prepare for their next one. From the customer's perspective, cleanup time does not affect the length of their class or sessions in a workshop; they will only see the full time each class will take. Cleanup time can also be adjusted when registering in-house and on the Calendar after registration.
Classes with cleanup time are shown on the Calendar with a darkened bar at the end of the timeslot. Selecting the class on the calendar will show the amount of cleanup time added.
To see and compare how much time has been used in total for Cleanup Time, run the Booking Percentage report.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses. At least one class and/or workshop must already be created in your Service/Class Menu.
To add cleanup time to your class, you'll need to make changes to each class in your Service/Class Menu.
To add cleanup time after a class or workshop:

Select More
→ → .

Select Classes to view your class menu.

Select the class or workshop you want to change, then select Edit.

Go to Cleanup Time and select 0 min. If a value is already set, select that instead.

Using the spinners, select the duration, up to 120 minutes, then select Done.

Update any other details of the class, then select Save.
To add cleanup time after a class or workshop:
Cleanup time can be edited from the Calendar. Changing an appointment's cleanup time will not affect the default cleanup time for that class. Cleanup time can only be added to classes that already have cleanup time configured in your menu.
Note
The Use Longest Cleanup Time settings in your Online Appointment Rules does not apply to class bookings. Cleanup time will always be added to the end of each class session.
To edit cleanup time for a class session from the Calendar:

Go to the Calendar
screen, then select the calendar you want to view.

Find the class session.

Select the class session on the calendar to open its details, then select Edit.

If it's a workshop or repeating class, choose to Edit This Occurrence or Edit the Series.

In the class details, select →

Adjust the duration, up to 120 minutes, then select → .

Update any other details of the class, then select Save.
To edit cleanup time for a class or class session from the Calendar:

Go to the Calendar

Find the class session.

Select the class session on the calendar to open its details, then select Edit.

If it's a workshop or repeatingclass, choose to Edit This Occurrence or Edit the Series, then select Edit Class.

In the class details, select Duration.

In the class details, select the box under Duration, adjust the Cleanup Time, and then select Apply.

Update any other details of the class, then select Save.

i implemented this, although it allowed for an appt to be booked online at the end of he technicians shift, with the clean up time going outside scheduled hours.. Is there a way to fix this?
Hi Jessica, the cleanup time will go outside of working hours, as this is intended functionality. The only way to fix this would be to adjust your employees' working hours to accommodate their cleanup time.
