Account notifications are messages that inform account owners, service providers, and admins about their Vagaro calendar, outstanding business tasks, and Vagaro announcements. They can alert you about actions that need your attention such as pending customer appointments, waitlisted customers, upcoming appointments, low Inventory warnings, rent payments, and more.
If you aren't receiving your notifications and reminders via text, email, and/or push notifications, there are several settings you can check to help you stay on top of your calendar and your business.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
To view your Vagaro notifications:

At the bottom of the screen, select Notifications.

Select the notification category to view the alerts.

Select the item in the category to go to the corresponding screen to take action. If no action is needed, select Dismiss to hide the notification.
You may receive the following notifications in the Notification Panel:

Business Profile Progress (web only): A progress bar in your Notification Panel shows how much more information you need to enter to complete your Vagaro account setup.

New Vagaro features, events, campaigns, and more: Learn about recent Vagaro enhancements and updates, promotions, and events that you can join.

Feedback: Vagaro will occasionally check in to see how you're feeling about the software. If you're satisfied, we’d love for you to leave a review on G2 for a chance to win $50! If not, please share your feedback with our team so we can improve your experience.

Vagaro Capital: If you're qualified for Vagaro Capital, you'll see how much you can receive to help expand your business. You'll then be notified if your application has been approved and when you're eligible to renew your funding.

Waitlist: By configuring your waitlist options in Online Appointment Rules, you'll be notified when customers join your waitlist and when you can book customers into available time slots.

Pending Appointment Requests: You’ll be notified if a customer has requested an appointment that you need to approve.

Booked Appointment: When a customer has booked an appointment with you, either through your Vagaro Listing Page or in-house by another employee, a notification will show you the date and time of the appointment.

Invoices: View the Invoices screen to see a list of customers who have outstanding invoices and billing statements that have not been paid on time.

Low Inventory: View the Inventory Management screen to see a list of your products that have reached or fallen below the quantity threshold you've set.

Rent Collection: Employees will receive notifications to add or update their banking information for rent payments, sign a rental agreement with the business owner if required, and late payment notifications. The business owner will receive notifications to view the Rent Collection report if a rent payment has failed.

Personal Task Requests: View an employee's request to block off time on their calendar for a personal task. Until the request is approved, customers can still book appointments during the requested period. The employee will receive a notification when their request has been approved or denied. To track and manage time off, Vagaro Payroll is required. This requirement is managed in the Access Levels screen using the Require Acceptance for Personal Tasks permission.

Time-Off Requests: View an employee's request for time off from work. Until the request is approved, customers can still book appointments during the requested period. The employee will receive a notification when their request has been approved or denied. To track and manage time off, Vagaro Payroll is required. This requirement is managed in the Access Levels screen using the Require Acceptance for Personal Tasks permission.

Missing Clock-Outs: View the Time Card Report to see a list of your hourly employees who are missing clock-in and clock-out events. If you use Vagaro Payroll, these employees cannot be paid until their missing hours have been added.

Vagaro-to-Vagaro Import: Other Vagaro businesses that employ your previous employees and business partners may send a request for you to transfer your business data to them, such as customer lists and employee profiles to transfer information to another business. You can choose to accept or decline these data transfers.

Chargebacks: View and respond to a customer chargeback dispute.

Vagaro Payroll: Business owners will receive notifications first onboard their business to Vagaro Payroll to verify the bank account that will be debited for payroll, when their account is ready for payroll, and when it's time to run payroll. Employees will also receive invitations to complete their onboarding and when their tax documentation is available.

Customer Reviews: View and reply to customers who leave a review on your Vagaro Listing Page.
