Additional Details allow you to add collapsible information to a product's listing page, like a t-shirt's sizing chart, a lotion's ingredient list, or a product's warranty. While a description is used to describe what a product is used for and its benefits, Additional Details allow customers to learn more about your product. These details are closed by default, allowing you to add detailed information without taking up too much space.
To help save time and maintain consistency across your products, you can create reusable templates that add the same Additional Detail across multiple products. Updating a template will apply to all products to which it has been added.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses, and you must already have products set up in your inventory.
Create a new product detail from Inventory Management. Any new details you create can be added specifically for this product or saved as a reusable template for use with other products.
To add a detail:

Go to

Select the product to go to its Product Details, then in the top-right corner, select → .
You can also create a new product instead.

Next to Additional Details, select → → .
If you've already added a detail to this product, select
→ → instead. -
Enter the Detail Title and Description.
Tip
Your Description is the content that is shown to your customers on the product's listing Page. You can format your text with bold, italics, underlining, lists, links, tables, and more. You can also improve your description by selecting the AI
icon.

Optionally, to reuse this detail with other products, turn on Save New Detail Template, then enter a Template Name.

Select Add Detail.
This detail will appear in Additional Details. Repeat these steps to add more details.

Optionally, to change or remove a detail, select it, then select Edit or Delete.
Note
Editing a template
turns off reuse and will not update this detail in other products. To sync changes across multiple products, edit the template from Product Detail Templates.
If you added multiple details and want to change the order, select Move
and drop it to a new position.

Under Additional Details, select Add Detail.
If you've previously created a template, a list of templates will appear. Select Create New Details in the list.

In the Add Detail popup, enter the Detail Title and Description.
Tip

On all devices except for the phone, you can view the detail templates you've created from Product Details. To get to this screen, go to → → . All details you've chosen to add as a template will appear here.

To create a new template, select New Detail. You can then attach this template to other products later on.

To make changes, under Template Name, select the template.
In your template, select Preview to see how it will look on your Vagaro Listing Page.

To see which product this template is used in, under Product Instances, select a link.

To duplicate a template, select Duplicate it. Duplicate a template to make changes without affecting the original template.

→ , then choose whether to delete just the template or remove the detail entirely from all linked products.
