Only the account owner of a Vagaro business can change the owner of their business account or transfer it to someone else, including another employee. If the owner still has future bookings, they must be moved to another employee's calendar before ownership can be transferred.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
To reassign a business account to another owner:

Go to

Select Employees to view the employee list.

Select the Account Owner profile.

Under Locations, select the Action menu, then select Reassign.

In the Reassign - Select Option popup, select Reassign Account Ownership, then select Continue.
Note
If a message says that the owner still has future bookings, select Reassign Calendar to move their appointments to another employee, or add a new employee, who does NOT have hours or services, then select OK in the confirmation popup.

Enter the account owner's password, then select Login to continue.
A popup confirms that you entered the correct password.

In the Reassign Account Ownership popup, select Continue to agree and confirm that the new owner will enter their credit card and assume responsibility for maintaining this Vagaro account.

Enter the new owner's credit card information and billing address, then select Continue.

Select how the new owner's credit card will be processed.

No Credit Card Processing: Transfer the business account to the new owner without signing up for Vagaro Merchant Services or using their existing VMS account. The new owner will not be able to accept credit card payments until they sign up for Vagaro Merchant Services or they can activate their merchant account later. Select Continue to finalize the transfer the business account to the new owner. If the new owner has

Card Reader Present Processing: Select Continue with this option selected to have the new owner set up Vagaro Merchant Services right away or use their existing VMS account with their new business. If they don't already have a merchant account, select Continue again on the warning screen, and the new owner can set up their account.

Select Current Configuration to view how the current owner's account is set up.

Review the Reassign Account Ownership summary, then select Reassign Ownership to confirm the transfer.
The assigned user can now log in as the owner of the business.
