For every credit or debit card you process with Vagaro, our processing fees are deducted from the total before it's deposited into your bank account. The fees deducted depend on the type of transaction you processed. You can view all fee deductions and your net earnings from the Credit Card Deposits Report.
Vagaro does not allow passing on credit card processing fees to the customer because this practice is banned by some cardholders. See Surcharges and Convenience Fees before continuing.
Processing rates differ by country. If you are outside of Australia, see the following articles:

Hi, can you review your policy for Australia, as the above statement of passing on surcharge fees being banned is incorrect? You can see that the ACCC is fine with this practice as long as you are not charging more than what you as a business is being charged. Please read at https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/pricing/card-surcharges
Our business is dealing with large transaction sizes, so I find this policy restrictive and is not found on any other competitor platform. Otherwise I am so impressed with Vagaro, so please reconsider this issue.
Hi June, Vagaro fully supports and allows you to raise your price to include the fee and then do a Discount for Cash which is described in this article. While the Australian government may allow surcharges, our processor and underwriting bank does not allow you to implement surcharges.
Thanks, Jamie
