View Text Marketing Billing History

The Text Messaging Billing History report tracks the number of text marketing messages you’ve sent to customers during your marketing campaigns, along with how much you’re being billed for this feature. By reviewing this report, you’ll see both the number of messages sent and the total amount spent on text marketing.

The following information is shown in your Text Messaging Billing History report:

  • Closed Date: The last day of the billing period.

  • Billing Date: The date when you were billed for your rate plan.

  • Paid Date: The date when you paid that bill.

  • Text Messaging: The amount of credits used for SMS messaging during the billing cycle. This number does not include any messages with images or GIFs.

  • Text Messaging with Image: The amount of credits used for messages with images or GIFs during the billing cycle. This number does not include any regular SMS messages.

  • Billed Usage: Extra charges and overages you incurred for this bill.

  • Charge: The amount you were charged for that bill.

  • Rate Plan: The current plan you're on.

  • Price: The price of the plan.

  • Usage Limit: The maximum number of marketing messages you can send during the billing period.

  • Over Limit Rate: The overage charge, which is the amount you would have to pay if you go over your limit.

Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.

On a Phone

To view your text marketing billing history:

  1. Select More This is an icon used to go to the More initial navigation step on the Vagaro website and the Vagaro Pro app. → Reports → Text Marketing Billing History.

  2. At the top of the screen, select the Date Range to report on. The report updates automatically each time you change the date range.

  3. Optionally, in the top-right corner, select Filters filters_icon_2x.png, set any of the following filters, and then select Run Report.

    • Group By Billing Date: Group billing changes made in the same month.

    • Sort By: Reorder the report.

  4. Optionally, in the top-right corner, select Action Three vertically stacked circles, representing a menu or more options icon., then:

    • Select Star or Remove Star to bookmark or unbookmark.

    • Select Print to get a hard copy of the report.

    • Select Export PDF or Export Excel to download this report.

On a Computer, Tablet, Pay Desk, or PayPro

To view your text marketing billing history:

  1. Select Reports Decorative solid black rectangle, which is usually an icon for reports or charts. → Text Marketing Billing History.

  2. Set the date range for your report:

    1. In the top-right corner, select Date Range calendar-regular-full.png to open the date picker.

    2. Use the date picker to choose a date range or a preset range like Yesterday or Last 7 Days.

    3. If you manually selected a date range, select Submit.

  3. Optionally, in the top-right corner, select Filters filter-solid-full.png, set any of the following filters, and then select Run Report.

    • Group By Billing Date: Group billing changes made in the same month.

  4. Optionally, sort, print, or export the report:

    • Select a column header to sort the report.

    • Select Print print-solid-full.png to get a hard copy of the report.

    • Select Export download2.png to save the report to an Excel or PDF file (computer version only).
