Product History provides two functions:

View all events related to individual products in your inventory: sales, purchases, reductions in inventory due to loss, damage, expiration, or business use.

Correct data entry errors for purchases, sales, and other inventory changes.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses, and you must already have products set up in your inventory.
To view a product's history:

Go to Inventory Management:

On the Phone: Go to → → .

On the Pay Desk or PayPro: At the bottom of the screen, select Inventory.

Select the product you want to view. You can filter or search through products if needed.

Select the icon, then select History.
You are now on the Product History screen. From this screen, you can review events that affected this product.

Date: When a change was made.
-
Status: What changed? For example, the product was Purchased, Sold, Lost, or Expired.

Qty (Quantity): How much of the stock was affected?
Select the icon in the top-right corner to filter out products from history.

Select a date range (From Date and To Date) to review history during a specific date range.

Select a Type to filter through a product's history based on its status. For example, select Damaged to review how often you lose stock because of damaged products.
You can also select each event to learn more.
To view a product's history:

Go to Inventory Management:

On the Web Version: Go to → → .

On a Tablet: At the bottom of the screen, select Inventory.

Select the icon next to the product you want to review, then select History.
You are now on the Product History screen. From this screen, you can review events that affected this product.
Here are some important fields with definitions:

Date: When the change was made.
-
Status: What changed? For example, the product was Purchased, Sold, Lost, or Expired.

Reason: Reason entered when the quantity was changed.

Vendor: Purchase Order received from this vendor.

Service Provider: Who sold the product?
-
Modified Date: Date of change.
-
Modified By: Who made this change?
-
Cost: Cost (for business) to purchase this product.
-
Selling Price: Cost (for customer) to purchase this product.

Qty (Quantity): How much of the stock was affected?
You can also filter, organize, and even print/export your Product History from this screen:

Enter a date range in the From Date and To Date fields to view Product History during a specific period.

Expand the Type drop-down menu, then select one of the options to filter through a product's history based on its status. For example, select Damaged to review how often you lose stock because of damaged products.

Export the result to an Excel spreadsheet or print a copy by selecting the Export and Print icons in the top-right corner.
Note
If you apply a date range or filters, select the Search button to update your report.
Did you or an employee make a mistake while entering a change to inventory? Did you select the wrong Reason or add an incorrect note when subtracting items from your inventory? Incorrect product adjustments could affect your reports, such as the Inventory Summary report; however, you can easily fix these mistakes.

From the Product History screen, select an event you want to update.

Select Edit in the top-right corner.

Make changes on the edit screen and select Submit when you're done.
To cancel any changes, select the back arrow.
Note
What you can update depends on the Type of change. For example:

Sold: You can only change the Service Provider.
-
Refund: There is no edit option for a refund event.
Changing Tax Rates:
Updating the Tax Rate for a product will not affect previous sales/refunds shown in product history.

From the Product History screen, select the Edit button next to the product you want to edit.

Make any needed changes, then select Submit in the bottom-right corner.
Note
What you can update depends on the Type of change. For example:

Changing Tax Rates:
Updating the Tax Rate for a product will not affect previous sales/refunds shown in product history.
