Checking out on PayPro or PayPro Mini is easy for employees and customers. On the business side, employees interact with Vagaro as usual. When it's time for customers to pay, your device prompts the customer to insert, tap, or swipe their card, then provide a tip and/or signature if your business requires them. You can then print or email the customer's receipt and book their next appointment.
You can also connect your PayPro Mini to your computer and take tap payments directly on your PayPro mini. A Vagaro credit card swiper is required to accept FSA and HSA cards. Your clients will still be prompted on PayPro Mini to provide a signature and leave a tip at the end of their transactions. Contact Support for assistance accepting these cards.
Note
For customers in Canada, the UK, and Australia, PayPro is incompatible with the WisePad 3 credit card reader. You will need the WisePOS E instead, which is available from the Vagaro Online Store.
Prerequisites: This feature requires PayPro and/or PayPro Mini (US only), an active Internet connection, and Credit Card Processing.
To check out a customer on PayPro:

On the Checkout screen, select the customer and fill their shopping cart, then select Pay with Card.

Flip the PayPro screen to face the customer.

On the customer’s side, they will:

Add a tip, depending on your business settings, then select Next.

Insert, tap, or swipe their card on the credit card reader.

Sign the transaction, depending on your business settings, then select Charge Card.

Flip the screen back to face you.
-
Select whether to print or email the receipt, depending on your business settings.

Select whether to return to the calendar or book another appointment.
The PayPro Mini tablet can be removed from its dock to be used as a mobile Vagaro device and portable POS.
To check out a customer on PayPro Mini:

On the Checkout screen, select the customer and fill their shopping cart, then select Pay with Card.

On the customer’s side, they will:

Add a tip, depending on your business settings, then select Next.

Insert or tap their card on the PayPro Mini.

Sign the transaction, depending on your business settings, then select Charge Card.

Select whether to print or email the receipt, depending on your business settings.

Select whether to return to the calendar or book another appointment.
To check out a customer on PayPro Duo:

On PayPro:

On the Checkout screen, select the customer and fill their shopping cart, then select Pay with Card.
The items in the customer’s shopping cart are also listed on PayPro Mini as they are added or removed.

Select Checkout on This Device. PayPro shows that it’s waiting for the customer to complete the transaction.
Tip
To disable or enable the Checkout with Contactless Checkout settings, select the down arrow beside Checkout, select Checkout Settings, then toggle Contactless Settings.

On the PayPro Mini on the customer's side, they will:

Add a tip, depending on your business settings, then select Next.

Insert or tap their card on the PayPro Mini.

Sign the transaction, depending on your business settings, then select Charge Card.

Back on PayPro on the business's side:

Select whether to print or email the receipt, depending on your business settings.

Make sure you've paired your PayPro mini with your computer before following the steps below.
To check out a PayPro Mini connected to a computer:

Go to Vagaro on your computer.

On the Checkout screen, select the customer and fill their shopping cart, then select Pay with Card.

On the PayPro Mini, the customer can:

Add a tip, depending on your business settings, then select Next.

Insert or tap their card on the PayPro Mini.

Have the customer select whether to print or email the receipt.
