If you skipped payment to an employee during a regular pay cycle, need to pay your employees outside of your regular pay schedule, or want to give a bonus or reimbursement, you can run an off-cycle payroll. Unlike a regular payroll, an off-cycle payroll can be run anytime and paid to employees within one to two business days.
Prerequisites: This feature requires Vagaro Payroll and is available only to businesses in the US.
To run an off-cycle payroll for employees:

Go to the Payroll report.

In the Which Employees Are You Paying? screen, select Employees.

In the Which Payroll Do You Want to Run? screen, select Off-Cycle Payroll.

At the top of the screen, configure your report filters, then select Run Report:

Date Range: The start and end dates that the employees are being paid for.

Pay Date: The date when the employees will receive their direct deposit, or the date to be shown on the paycheck.

Employees: Select the employees to be paid.

Optionally, to Include Past Employees, select Advanced Filters, and then select the checkbox.

For each employee in the list of payments, select Add Payment, select the payment method, enter any other additional amounts to be included in the paycheck, then select Save.
The Gross Pay is automatically updated as you enter the employee's pay information.

In the Off-Cycle Payroll screen, enter or update any deductions, or change how the payment is calculated:

Vagaro Payroll Managed Benefits: Whether to block or include a regular pay period's worth of deductions and contributions.

Rate for Supplemental Wages and Earnings: Whether to withhold earnings using the supplemental or the employee's regular hourly rate or salary.

Regular Wages and Earnings: The pay frequency that the off-cycle payment is based on.

At the top of the screen, select Submit Payroll.

In the Review and Submit Payroll popup, select each tab to review the payroll details to be submitted.

Company Pays: Lists the employee’s payments and a breakdown of the payment.

Taxed & Debited: Lists the taxes and other amounts to be debited from the business's bank account and deposited into your employees' bank accounts.

Select Submit.

In the Vagaro Submitted popup, review the confirmed amounts and dates, then close the popup.
Note
These details do not include the amounts paid by check because they are not debited directly from your payroll.
