Set Up Your Employees' Salaries – Vagaro Support

Setting up your employees' salaries is performed in the Payroll Configuration screen. A salary is a net amount agreed upon between you and an employee when the employee agrees to work for you. The amount is paid in increments depending on your Payroll Frequency when you set up your payroll.

Note

Employees who you have entered a salary for cannot be paid for additional roles at your business. If you want to pay an employee for performing more than one role, you must give them Hourly Pay for each role. Vagaro will consider only the Salary amount if you enter your employees' pay in both tabs.

Prerequisites: This feature requires Vagaro Payroll and is available only to businesses in the US on the web, tablet, Pay Desk, and PayPro.

To set up your employees' salaries:

Select Reports → Payroll Configuration.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
Select the Salary tab.
For each employee, enter their Salary Per Year.
Select Save.
