Packages allow you to sell services, classes, and/or products in bulk to be redeemed for later appointments and can be set to expire after using all visits or renewed after a period of time or number of visits. You can create pre-built packages for sale on your Vagaro Listing Page, custom website, and at Checkout, or create a package from scratch for one customer at Checkout. If your employees or booth renters have their own merchant account, make sure to enable Package & Membership Sales Go Directly to Employees in your Taxes & Checkout settings. This setting allows package sales and renewals to be deposited directly into their accounts.
After attaching a package to your customer's profile, you can use that package and its visits to redeem the things you sell at your business.
Note
Services, classes, or products redeemed through a package do not earn points.

If the client wants to purchase a package and utilize it in the same day, do we “remove (the service) from checkout”, finish that transaction, then go back to the calendar and check out the service with the package? I'm assuming that's how it's done, but it would be nice to see it described in this tutorial. Thanks!
Hi Jennifer, Yes, that's how it works. I'll get this added to my article as soon as possible. It'll be a useful tip to users.
Thanks,
Jamie
