Create memberships to add discounts to the things you sell, build a VIP program or gym membership, and boost your revenue every month with automatic renewals. You can then sell memberships on your Vagaro Listing Page, custom website, and at Checkout. If your employees or booth renters have their own merchant account, enable Package & Membership Sales Go Directly to Employees in your Taxes & Checkout settings so sales and renewals are deposited directly into their accounts.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
After attaching a membership to your customer's profile, you can use that membership and its visits to redeem the things you sell at your business.
To redeem a membership visit at Checkout:

Go to Checkout or check out an appointment from the Calendar.

Ensure you have a customer selected and that their shopping cart is ready for checkout.
Note
A customer's membership will be displayed below their profile.

Select Shopping Cart. Any items redeemable with the customer's membership will automatically display a blue MS (membership) chip.

To redeem another item or remove a visit from an item in the cart:
Tip
If the customer's membership doesn't apply to any items in the cart, see what other items can be redeemed in their Customer Profile.

Select the item in the cart.

Select Use Membership. The membership details, like starting and current visit balance, will be displayed.

To not use a visit, select Not This Time.

To use a visit, select Use Membership.

Select Save, then select Done in the Shopping Cart to return to the Checkout screen.

Enter payment for the remaining balance, if applicable, then select Checkout.
To redeem a membership visit at Checkout:

Go to Checkout or check out an appointment from the Calendar.

Ensure you have a customer selected and that their shopping cart is ready for checkout.

Any memberships a customer has will be displayed below their profile.

Review the customer's cart. Any items redeemable with the customer's membership will automatically display a green MS (membership) button.
Tip
If the customer's membership doesn't apply to any items in the cart, see what other items can be redeemed in their Customer Profile.

Optionally, to remove a membership visit from an item, select the MS button, then select Not This Time. The button will turn gray and can be selected again to reactivate.

Enter payment for the remaining balance, if applicable, then select Checkout.
If you aren't sure what items a membership redeems or how many visits it has left, check the customer's profile. You can view information about when the membership was purchased, redeemable items, renewals, starting and current balance, and membership status.
To view membership details:

Select the customer's profile photo at Checkout.

In the top menu, swipe left to Memberships and select it.

Select the membership to be viewed, then select Edit Balance.

Select the Service/Classes or Products tabs to see what the membership can redeem.
Note
If you group items in a membership, select Grouped Service/Classes or Grouped Products to see more.
To view membership details:

Go to Checkout and select a customer.

Next to the customer's profile, select History.

Select the Memberships tab.

To view what services, classes, add-ons, or products a membership can redeem, select the membership's Starting Balance.
