After a customer has purchased a membership, they can redeem it at checkout to pay for their visits and the things you sell at your business. Any balances or discounts for services, classes, or products covered by the membership are automatically applied. If either the business or the customer choose not to apply any benefits, the redemption can be removed. You can view and update a customer's membership details, benefits, and balance in their customer profile or the Memberships report.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses. The customer must have already purchased a membership for redemption at checkout.
To redeem a membership visit at Checkout:

Go to Checkout or check out an appointment from the Calendar.

Ensure you have a customer selected and that their shopping cart is ready for checkout.
Note
A customer's membership will be displayed below their profile.

Select Shopping Cart. Any items redeemable with the customer's membership will automatically display a blue Membership
icon.

To remove a visit from an item in the cart or add it back:
Tip
If the customer's membership doesn't apply to any items in the cart, see what other items can be redeemed in their Customer Profile.

Select the item in the cart.

Select Use Membership. The membership details, like starting and current visit balance, will be displayed.

To not use a visit, select Not This Time.

To use a visit, select Use Membership.

Select Save, then select Done to return to the Checkout screen.

Enter payment for the remaining balance, if applicable, then select Checkout.
To redeem a membership visit at Checkout:

Review the customer's cart. Any items redeemable with the customer's membership will automatically display a green Membership
icon in the Use Pts column.
Tip
If the customer's membership doesn't apply to any items in the cart, see what other items can be redeemed in their Customer Profile.

Optionally, to remove a membership visit from an item, select the MS button, then select Not This Time. The button will turn gray and can be selected again to reactivate.

Enter payment for the remaining balance, if applicable, then select Checkout.
