Use the Sales Trends report to monitor how your inventory products are selling over time. For any date range, the report breaks down profit, total sales price, business cost, and the number of units sold.
The report contains the following information:

Profit: The profit made from all products sold. This is calculated by the total sales price minus the total business cost.

Sales Price of Product Sold: The total sales price of all products sold.

Cost of Product Sold: The total business cost of all products sold.

# of Product Sold: How many products were sold.
Running the Sales Trends report on a phone displays your products' sales and profit.

In Chart View, a line chart shows sales trends by profit, sales, and cost.

In Grid View, a card is shown for each day, week, month, or year, and it includes sales by profit, sales, and cost.
To run the Sales Trends inventory report:

At the top of the screen, select the Date Range to report on. The report updates automatically each time you change the date range.

Transaction Type: Filter for products purchased In House or Online.

Optionally, next to Filters
, use the drop-down list to group data by the Week, Year, Month, or Day.

Running the Sales Trends report displays your products' sales and profit.

In Chart View, a line chart shows sales trends across profit, sales, and cost.

In Grid View, the data is shown as a table, with one row per day, week, month, or year, and grouped by profit, sales, and cost.
To run the Sales Trends inventory report:

Set the date range for your report:

In the top-right corner, select Date Range
to open the date picker.

Use the date picker to choose a date range or a preset range like Yesterday or Last 7 Days.

If you manually selected a date range, select Submit.
