  • Jessi .

Is there a way to turn off the email function when selling a gift certificate at checkout? I know can set it to send at a later date, but some customers don't want an email copy set to the recipient.

Hi Jessi, on the web, you can toggle off Send Email To to prevent an email from being sent to the recipient.

Is there a way to select more than 1 service to add onto a gift card?

It is currently not possible to select more than one service. We encourage you to create a feature request at https://feedback.vagaro.com/forums/915991-feature-requests. You can also search for and upvote suggestions that other users have submitted.

We have our own physical gift cards that we have designed and sell through vagaro. The print section trips up our front desk staff. We see that we can toggle off the print option, but vagaro still makes us choose an image/template as if we were going to print even when toggled off. Please update this feature to create less confusion during the checkout process. Anything we can do to streamline the process would be amazing.

    Hi Melissa,

Thanks for the feedback. I've submitted your comment over to the product team.

Is there any way to sell a gift card on a tablet but not have to select a customer if they currently do not have a profile in Vagaro? It seems that creating a new customer just takes extra time and we want our process to be as quick and streamlined as possible.

Hi Kelly, you don't need to select a customer when selling gift cards. It's completely optional.

    Thanks, Jamie

Interesting. Our system keeps telling us to select a customer first. Is there a tutorial for this? Or maybe we have a setting option selected that we shouldn’t. Any help would be lovely.

    Hi Kelly,

My mistake. I thought you were talking about a recipient. Currently, you don't need to select a recipient for a gift card. However, you still need to select a customer to purchase it. As a walk-around, I recommend creating a “Walk In” customer profile that you can use in these scenarios.

    Thanks, Jamie
