For businesses that require memberships for services, such as those in the spa and wellness industry, or for classes, such as those in the fitness and self-care industry, you can configure the Check-In app so that customers must have a membership to book an appointment or sign up for a class at a Check-In kiosk. If they don't have a membership, you can prompt the customer to purchase or renew their membership right at the kiosk, or enter a custom message they can purchase one by either speaking to an employee at your business or visiting your Vagaro Listing Page. Along with your memberships, you can also provide plastic membership cards, which also show off your business logo and branding, and make it easier for customers to check in by scanning their card at the kiosk instead of logging into their account.
Tip
To require customers to have a membership if they sign up for a class or book an appointment on your Vagaro Listing Page, go to the Online Appointment Rules screen and toggle on the Membership or Package Required to Book switch.
Alternatively, if you don't require customers to have a membership when checking in, you can still show a list of your memberships that they can optionally purchase at the kiosk before completing their check-in.
Prerequisites: This feature is available only on tablets and requires the Vagaro Check-in app. Also, at least one service or class and a membership, must already be set up, and all customers who check in at a kiosk must have a customer profile with your business.
