A kiosk is a tablet at your business running the Check-In App. The first time you run the Check-In App on a tablet, you are prompted to enter a name for that kiosk to label and identify it in the Check-In Log report. This report tracks when and at which kiosk your customers checked in at. Although kiosks cannot be added on the app's Settings screen, you can still rename or remove them from the Kiosk Management section on any device in the Check-In app, the Vagaro Pro app, or on the web.
Prerequisites: This feature is available on tablets only. A separate Vagaro Check-in app is required. All customers must have a customer profile with your business and a Vagaro account.
Kiosks are added only when the Check-In app is opened for the first time on a new device. You are prompted to enter a name for it, which is used only to identify the kiosk in the Check-In Log report. The app will prompt you again to add a name if it is removed from the list of kiosks on the Settings screen.
To enter a name for a kiosk:
-
On the tablet, open the Check-In app and log in.
-
Enter the kiosk name, then select Save. The Check-In app's home screen is displayed.
-

icon, log in, then choose your settings.
