Remove a Service or Class from a Gift Card, Package, or Membership

After a gift card, package, or membership has been created for one or more services or classes, you can update them later to change the services included.

Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.

Gift Cards

To remove a service or class from a gift card:

  1. Go to Reports → Gift Cards.

  2. In the Status filter, select All Gift Cards and then select Run Report.

  3. Find the Gift Card attached to the service or class you want to remove, then in the Action list, select Edit.

    Note

    You can also convert a gift card to be Price-Based, which removes any services or classes attached to it. See Manage the Gift Cards That You've Sold for more.

  4. Change the service on the edit screen.

  5. Select Next to preview the change.

  6. Select Update Gift Card to finalize the change.

Packages

To remove a service from a package:

  1. Go to Settings → Things We Sell → Packages.

  2. Find the Package that includes the Service or Class to remove, then in the Action list, select Edit Package.

  3. Scroll down to the Service/Class list for the package.

    1. If the service/class to remove is grouped, select the group, select Ungroup, and then confirm in the popup.

    2. Select the checkbox of the service/class to remove, select Delete, and then confirm in the popup.

    3. If you want to remove the entire group of services/classes, select it, then select Delete.

  4. Add any new services or classes you want to the package, then select Save.

  5. Choose whether to apply the change to only future package buyers or all current and future members, then select OK.

Memberships

To remove a service from a membership:

  1. Go to Settings → Things We Sell → Membership.

  2. Find the Membership that includes the service or class you want to remove, then in the Action list, select Edit Membership.

  3. Scroll down to the Services/Class list.

    1. If the service/class to remove is grouped, select the group, select Ungroup, and then confirm in the popup.

    2. Select the checkbox of the service/class to remove, select Delete, and then confirm in the popup.

    3. If you want to remove the entire group of services/classes, select it and select Delete.

  4. Add any new services or classes you want to the membership, then select Save.

  5. Choose whether to apply the change to only future package buyers or all current and future members, then select OK.
