By default, your batch cut-off time is set to 3 pm PT (Pacific Time) daily. This means that after 3 pm PT, your transactions will be grouped in the next batch of deposits. Your deposits can be viewed from the Deposit Report. If you want to change the batch time schedule, you can set the batch cut-off time to 12 am PT. Remember that you cannot mass change the batch time for all merchant accounts attached to the business; you must change it one by one.

Expand the Merchant list, then select the merchant account to be changed.

Select the Deposits tab, then you can view your current Batch Time.

Select Change Batch Time.

Under Batch Time, select 3:00 PM or 12:00 AM.

Review your new batch time schedule, then select Save.

Hover over the profile icon in the top-right corner, then select Merchant Accounts.

Expand the Merchant list, then select the merchant account to be changed. After selecting your merchant account, you can view your Batch Time.

What would be the benefit of changing your batch time to 12am?

Changing your batch time to 12am PT allows you to include an entire day's transactions in the batch. If you choose to batch at 3pm, then transactions processed until your closing time after would be batched the next day.

So it’s more of a reporting thing for some businesses that want/need to have full days in one batch/report?

It is also a matter of preference if you don't mind waiting a little bit longer for your money to reach your business account. The transactions processed after 3pm will be included in the next day's batch instead of all together at 12am.
