If you use Get Featured or run Daily Deals, Vagaro is improving how it promotes your business:
- Get Featured is becoming Vera Fill My Books: Vera Fill My Books automatically promotes your listing on the Marketplace, through emails, Daily Deals, and push notifications, putting your business in front of existing and new customers.
- Daily Deals are changing too: Vagaro will promote your Daily Deals to new and existing customers through emails and on the marketplace.
You won't be moved automatically. If you currently run a Daily Deal or have Get Featured active, the pop-ups below appear asking you to opt-in to the changes. If you opt-out, Get Featured will be disabled and all Daily Deals will be deactivated on the release date. These changes are expected to go live on July 1, 2026.

This article describes a feature that has not yet been released. Details may change before launch.
Vagaro is replacing Get Featured with Vera Fill My Books: A new growth tool, powered by Vera (Vagaro's built-in AI assistant), that promotes your open appointments across Vagaro to bring in more bookings. When you turn it on, Vagaro automatically markets your available times through the Marketplace, Daily Deals, email, and push notifications. You can create two campaigns with Fill My Books:
- Get New Customers: Offer a discount and Vagaro will promote your business to people nearby who have never booked with you.
- Fill Last-Minute Openings: Offer a discount on any open appointment that starts within the next three days (72 hours). If you have empty slots coming up, Vera can automatically promote those openings to nearby clients to help fill your schedule faster.
You're only charged when Vagaro brings you a booking:
| Fill My Books Setting | New Customer? | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Get New Customers | Yes | 20% |
| Get New Customers | No | 0% |
| Fill Last-Minute Openings | Yes | 20% |
| Fill Last-Minute Openings | No | 5% |
The fee is calculated on the amount the customer actually pays, after any discounts and before any tips or tax. It's calculated from all items in the cart, excluding products and gift cards.
For example, if a new customer books a $100 service with no discount, you will be charged a $20 fee for the booking. The same service with a 20% discount has an $80 price, so the fee is $16.
These changes affect businesses that use Daily Deals, even if you never turn on Fill My Books.
- New fees on Daily Deals: Daily Deals that target new or existing customers will now come with a fee for each booking.
- You won't be charged automatically: If you have an active Daily Deal, you'll see a pop-up before launch asking you to opt in to the new pricing. If you choose to opt-out, then all your Daily Deals will be deactivated on July 1st.
- Last-Minute Bookings setting: A new toggle on the Daily Deal form lets the discount apply only to appointments booked within a 72-hour window.
Fees have been added to Daily Deals. What fee is charged depends on your Daily Deal settings.
| Daily Deals Setting | Fee |
|---|---|
| New Customers | 20% |
| Existing Customers | 5% |
The fee is calculated on the amount the customer actually pays, after any discounts and before any tips or tax. It's calculated from all items in the cart, excluding products and gift cards (unless they're included in the Daily Deal).
For example, if a new customer books a $100 service with no discount, you will be charged a $20 fee for the booking. The same service with a 20% discount has an $80 price, so the fee is $16.
When a customer books with a Fill My Books or Daily Deal discount, the booking requires a 20% (new customer) or 5% (existing customer) deposit. The deposit is based on the price the customer pays after any discounts and before any taxes or tip. The exact deposit depends on your Online Shopping Cart settings:
- No deposit, or a deposit lower than the base fee: Vagaro collects a 20% or 5% deposit that is used to pay the fee.
- A deposit higher than the base fee (for example, 50%): Your deposit applies. The customer pays the amount you set, and Vagaro takes its fee from it.
Fill My Books and Daily Deals work whether or not you use Vagaro Merchant Services:
- With Vagaro Merchant Services: The deposit goes into your account first, then Vagaro's fee is taken.
- Without Vagaro Merchant Services: Vagaro collects the 5% or 20% fee as a deposit at booking. You collect the remaining balance from the customer at the appointment using your own payment methods, such as cash or your own card terminal.
Whether the booking fee is refunded depends on how far in advance the appointment is canceled. Vagaro refunds the fee to you only if the appointment is canceled at least 24 hours before it starts. If your cancellation policy requires more notice than that, for example, 36 hours, the longer window applies instead.
If you don't cancel before the refund window, or the customer no-shows, Vagaro keeps the booking fee (it won't be refunded to you).
