Vagaro has taken measures to ensure that we comply with HIPAA Privacy and Security Laws by excluding the name of the booked service. We also provide tips for how your business can be HIPAA-compliant.
Turning on the HIPAA Compliant Notifications setting in Vagaro also requires that you sign the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) to confirm that you will adhere to the rules about allowable and impermissible uses of health information between your business and Vagaro.
A HIPAA-compliant notification from Vagaro sent to the client excludes the name of the scheduled service:

To enable HIPAA-compliant messaging in Vagaro:
