Each year, Vagaro generates Form 1099-K for business owners, booth renters, and employees with their own merchant account to summarize their reportable earnings for IRS purposes. You can view and download your tax forms in your settings. Your Form 1099-K shows the total gross payments processed through Vagaro Credit Card Processing for the calendar year, including all card transactions such as services, products, classes, deposits, and tips. The amounts are reported before fees, refunds, or chargebacks, which are not deducted from the gross totals shown on the form.
For current IRS regulations, see https://www.irs.gov/businesses/understanding-your-form-1099-k.
Prerequisites: Vagaro generates tax forms for businesses with Vagaro Credit Card Processing.
Your Form 1099-K will be available in your Merchant Account settings by January 5, 2026.
Former Schedulicity users will receive their 1099-Ks via mail by January 31, 2026.
Form 1099-K is only generated when payments are processed through Vagaro Credit Card Processing. If your business uses multiple merchant accounts, and each account processes payments, a separate Form 1099-K will be issued for each one. Booth renters and employees who have their own merchant account will also receive a Form 1099-K. Salaried, hourly, and commission-based employees will not receive a 1099-K, since they do not process payments through their own merchant account.
You may receive a different tax form(s) if:
-
You sent or received rent payments through Vagaro Rent Collection. In this case, you'll also receive a separate 1099-MISC form from Vagaro.
-
You receive funds through Vagaro Payroll. In this case, you'll receive Forms W-2 or 1099 instead.
Important
Businesses that migrated over from Schedulicity may receive multiple Form 1099-Ks—one from payments processed through Vagaro and another for any payments processed through Schedulicity.
-
If you processed payments through Schedulicity with Clearant and Adyen, a Form 1099-K will be mailed by January 31, 2026.
-
If you processed payments through Schedulicity with Stripe, a Form 1099-K will be sent via e-delivery or by mail by January 31, 2026. If you opted in for e-delivery, you can access your form in Stripe.

Will this 1099 include all transactions or only ones processed through the credit card reader? For example- will it include cash and check transactions if they were recorded/checked out through the Vagaro calendar?
Hi Brook,
Thank you for taking the time to comment! The 1099 only displays transactions made through credit cards, but you can always run the Payment Distribution report to learn more about your cash/check transactions.
Thanks,
Jamie
Hi Jamie - this is great! So I’m the account holder and get all the retail sales. If I select Account Holder will it include the retail that’s run through my account as well, even though it was rung up by another stylist? Thanks!!
Hi Brook, that depends on how you've set up your business.
Do you have a separate retail account set up for your business? If so, you'll receive two 1099s: one for your business merchant account and the other for the separate retail account.
If you have one merchant account and your stylists are directing the product sales to your business merchant account and not their own, those transactions are included in your 1099.
If none of your stylists have a merchant account, all credit card transactions will go to your business account and included in your 1099.
Thanks,
Jamie
