Each year, Vagaro generates a Form 1099-MISC for business owners and booth renters who use Vagaro Rent Collection. This form differs from the Form 1099-K and applies only to individuals who receive or send rent payments.
Prerequisites: Vagaro generates Form 1099-MISC for businesses with Vagaro Credit Card Processing and Rent Collection.
Form 1099-MISC will only be generated for business owners and renters who sent or received at least $600 in rent payments over the previous year. Anyone who doesn't meet this requirement will see "Not Required" instead of a downloadable Form 1099-MISC.
If you meet the processing requirements above, your Form 1099-MISC form will become available by January 31, 2026.
The business owner can also download a business Form 1099-MISC for each employee who meets the processing requirements. You can download all Form 1099-MISCs from Rent Collection settings.
If they meet the processing requirements, booth renters can download their Form 1099-MISC from their Employee Profile.
To download your 1099-MISC form for the current tax year:

Select Employees to view all profiles, then select the employee's profile from the list.

From their profile, next to your business's name, select Action
→ .

Under Renters, go to 1099, then for the tax year you want to download, select Action

If applicable, enter your account password to verify it's you.

Download the Form 1099-MISC.
To download your 1099-MISC form for the current tax year:

Next to the employee's profile, select Action

If multi-location is configured, select the Locations link next to their profile, then select Action

Under Renters, go to 1099, then for the tax year you want to download, select → . If you don't see the previous year's Form 1099-MISC, it hasn't been generated yet.

If applicable, enter your account password to verify it's you.

Download the Form 1099-MISC.
If you no longer work for a Vagaro business or you cancelled your Vagaro account, you have a few options to access your Form 1099-MISC:

If you canceled your Vagaro account, you can reactivate it at any time to access your documents. Just note that you'll also need to pay for a Vagaro subscription.

If the Vagaro account is still open and you're a former employee or business owner, you can contact the business directly.
If you need to update your Form 1099-MISC, go to your employee profile to make the change.
