Adding cleanup time at the end of services gives your service providers time to clean up and prepare for their next one. From the customer's perspective, cleanup time does not affect the length of their appointment; they will only see the full time that the service will take. Cleanup time can also be adjusted when booking in-house and on the Calendar after an appointment has already been booked. Unless time is set aside for cleanup in the Service/Class Menu screen, you cannot add or modify it when a customer books a service.
Services with cleanup time are shown on the Calendar with a darkened bar at the bottom of the appointment block. Selecting the service on the calendar will also list that it includes cleanup time at the end. Your customers' calendar and services in the Vagaro customer app or their third-party calendar apps do not display information about cleanup time.

Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses. At least one service and/or service bundle must already be created in your Service/Class Menu.
Cleanup time is added to the end of a service when you create or edit a Vagaro Service or Custom Service in the Service/Class Menu screen. Whenever that service is booked by a customer, the cleanup time will be added to the end of the appointment by default.
To add or change cleanup time after a service:

Go to

Select Services.

Select the service to add cleanup time to, then select Edit.

Scroll down to Cleanup Time, then select 0 min.

Using the spinners, select the duration of the cleanup time, up to 120 minutes, then select Done.

Update any other details of the appointment if needed, then select Save.
To add or change cleanup time after a service:

Select the Service tab.

Select the service to be modified.

Scroll down to the Cleanup Time setting and toggle it on.

Enter the amount of time, up to 120 minutes, or adjust the amount in five-minute increments using the ̶ and + buttons.

Update any other details of the appointment if needed, then select Save.
When you create a service bundle, cleanup time is optional for services in a bundle, regardless of whether the individual services were already set up with their own cleanup time.
To add or modify cleanup time for a service bundle:

Go to

Select Services.

Select the service bundle to add cleanup time to, then select Edit Service Bundle.

For each service in the bundle, update the Cleanup Time by selecting 0 min, specify the duration by using the spinners, up to 120 minutes, and then select Done.

Update any other details of the appointment if needed, then select Save.
An individual appointment's cleanup time can be modified by editing it on the Calendar. For example, a client may need extra time to get changed at the end of a massage, or a service provider doesn't need as much time to get ready for their next appointment. Changing an appointment's cleanup time will not affect the default cleanup time for your other services or those in your other customers' purchased bundles.
Note
Cleanup time cannot be edited on the Calendar if the Cleanup Time setting wasn't enabled in the Service/Class Menu screen for the service or service bundle.
To edit cleanup time from the Calendar:

On the Calendar, select an appointment with cleanup time, then select Edit.

If the appointment is a repeating appointment, select whether to Edit this Occurrence or Edit the Series.

Select the Duration field to update the appointment's allotted time on the calendar.

Adjust the Cleanup Time as necessary, up to 120 minutes.

Select Apply.

Update any other details of the appointment if needed, then select Save.
When you edit an appointment that has cleanup time included, you'll see that the Duration also includes cleanup time.
To edit cleanup time from the Calendar:

On the Calendar, select an appointment with cleanup time, then select Edit.

If the appointment is a repeating appointment, select whether to Edit this Occurrence or Edit the Series, then select Edit Booking.

Select the Duration field to update the appointment's allotted time on the calendar.
