When you delete an employee from Vagaro, you should reassign their calendar to another employee to transfer over their appointments. The system will keep the employee's appointment history, and your business reports will not be affected. You will also have the option to remove a license from your business; however, you will have to purchase a license again if you want to add a new employee account. You can still keep a license by just deactivating an employee and then adding a new employee or re-activating an existing employee.
Before deleting an employee profile, consider performing these tasks first; you may not need to remove their profile:

If you still need the employee's information, toggle off the Active setting in the Employee Profile screen.

If the employee is still working at the office but is no longer a service provider, change the employee's access level to one with fewer permissions in Vagaro.

If the employee's information is being transferred to another Vagaro account, wait until the transfer process has been completed before deleting the profile from your account.
To restore a deleted employee, including their calendar and other settings at your business, you'll need to contact support. A fee will apply for each employee profile you want to restore.
Warning
Never rename an employee profile to re-use a Vagaro license. Doing so will update all of the previous employee's past bookings with the new employee's name.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
To delete an employee and reassign their calendar:

Select Employees to view the employee list.

Select the employee's profile.

In the employee's profile, select the Action
menu, then select Delete.

Select what to do with the employee's profile and their calendar.

To delete the employee and all of their appointments, select Delete Calendar, and then select Save.

To re-assign the calendar to another employee before deleting the employee, select a Service Provider in the list or select Add Employee to set up a new employee profile or add a provider who already has a Vagaro account. A calendar can be reassigned only to another service provider or admin who doesn't already have services on their calendar.

Select OK to confirm the deletion.

Optionally, if prompted, select OK to reduce your number of licenses by one.
