Deleting an employee removes their profile from your business. Before you delete the profile, review whether you should reassign their calendar, keep or remove their license, or consider performing these tasks first:
-
If you still need the employee's information, you can temporarily deactivate their profile. You will still need to pay for their license.
-
If the employee's information is being transferred to another Vagaro account, wait until the transfer is complete before deleting the profile from your account.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
Keep the following in mind:
-
Never rename an employee profile to reuse a Vagaro license. Doing so will update all of the previous employee's past bookings with the new employee's name.
-
If you reassign an employee's calendar, only their upcoming appointments will be transferred. All past appointments will be lost from the Calendar. These appointments can't be restored.
-
If you delete the employee's calendar, all their appointments will be removed from the calendar. To restore their past and future appointments, you'll need to contact support. A fee will apply for each employee profile you want to restore.
-
Appointment and transaction history will not be lost in your reporting and customer profiles.
If your employee has a calendar with appointments, you'll need to choose whether you want to delete and remove all the appointments or reassign them to another employee.
