Deactivating an employee profile prevents the person from accessing the account at your business, as well as their calendar so that customers cannot find or book with them. Reasons for deactivating an employee's profile include service providers on sabbatical, maternity leave, or short-term disability, and contractors who have left and you know will return in the near future. When the employee returns, you can reactivate their account.
If you do not expect an employee to return and want to reduce costs, consider deleting and reassigning their calendar. Deactivating an employee does not reduce the number of licenses you have.
Warning
Never rename an employee profile to re-use a Vagaro license. Doing so will update all of the previous employee's past bookings with the new employee's name.
