Run the Product Sales by Customer Report – Vagaro Support

The Product Sales by Customer report shows each customer's product purchases, including quantity bought and total amount spent. Use this report to identify your top product buyers and most valuable customers.

The report includes the following columns:

Business Name: The location where this product was purchased.
Customer: The customer who purchased this product.
Purchased Date: The date this product was purchased.
Brand: The brand of the product.
Product: The name of the product.
Quantity: How many times this product was purchased by your customer.
Net Sales: How much revenue you've made from each customer.

On a phone, scroll to the bottom of the screen to see Quantity and Net Sales.

Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.

On a Phone

On a phone, the report shows a separate card for each customer who purchased a product during the date range you set.

To run the report:

Select More → Reports → Product Sales by Customer.
At the top of the screen, select the Date Range to report on. The report updates automatically each time you change the date range.
Optionally, in the top-right corner, select Filters , set any of the following filters, and then select Run Report.
- Search: Search for a specific customer, brand, product, or date.
- Transaction Type: Show data for customers who purchased products in-house and/or online.
- Customer General Tag: Show data for customers with a specific customer tag.
- Business Location: If your business has multiple locations, show data for all locations or a specific set of locations. This option is available only if the Multi-Location Reports Access Level is set to View.
- Include Past Employees: Include data for employee profiles removed from your business.
- Sort By: Reorder the report.
Optionally, in the top-right corner, select Action , then:
- Select Star or Remove Star to bookmark or unbookmark.
- Select Print to get a hard copy of the report.
- Select Export PDF or Export Excel to download this report.
If you sell partial-use products, select the Product to see more information.

On a Computer, Tablet, Pay Desk, or PayPro

The report lists the customers who purchased a product during the date range.

To run the report:

Select Reports → Product Sales by Customer.
Set the date range for your report:
1. In the top-right corner, select Date Range to open the date picker.
2. Use the date picker to choose a date range or a preset range like Yesterday or Last 7 Days.
3. If you manually selected a date range, select Submit.
Optionally, in the top-right corner, select Filters , set any of the following filters, and then select Run Report.
- Transaction Type: Show data for customers who purchased products in-house and/or online.
- Search: Search for a specific customer, brand, product, or date.
- Business Location: If your business has multiple locations, show data for all locations or a specific set of locations. This option is available only if the Multi-Location Reports Access Level is set to View.
- Customer General Tag: Show data for customers with a specific customer tag.
- Include Past Employees: Include data for employee profiles removed from your business.
Optionally, sort, print, or export the report:
- Select a column header to sort the report.
- Select Print to get a hard copy of the report.
- Select Export to save the report to an Excel or PDF file (computer version only).
