The Trends report shows your sales by category, along with projected sales from future bookings and charges within a date range you select. Use it to see where your revenue is coming from and what you can expect to earn as scheduled bookings are completed.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
The report shows the following. Each segment is either a Charge, which is revenue already earned in the date range, or a Projected amount, which is expected revenue from bookings and charges scheduled within that range but not yet completed:

Service Charge: Revenue from services that have already been checked out and paid for in the selected date range.

Projected Service: Expected revenue from services that are booked but not yet completed or paid for in the date range.

Service Add-On Charge: Revenue collected from add-ons attached to a completed service, such as an extra treatment added to an appointment.

Projected Service Add-On: Expected revenue from service add-ons on bookings that have not been completed yet.

Class Charge: Revenue from class registrations that have already been paid for in the date range.

Projected Class: Expected revenue from class bookings that are scheduled but not yet paid for or completed.

Class Add-On Charge: Revenue collected from add-ons attached to a completed class booking.

Projected Class Add-On Charge: Expected revenue from class add-ons on bookings that have not been completed yet.

Product Charge: Revenue from retail product sales in the date range.

Membership Charge: Revenue from membership payments collected in the date range.

Projected Membership: Expected revenue from membership charges scheduled to run later in the date range.

Package Charge: Revenue from package sales collected in the date range.

Projected Package: Expected revenue from package charges scheduled to run later in the date range.

Gift Card Charge: Revenue from gift card sales in the date range.

Tip: Total tips collected on transactions in the date range.

Rent Charge: Revenue from booth or space rent collected in the date range.

Projected Rent: Expected revenue from rent charges scheduled to run later in the date range.

Fees Charge: Revenue from any fees, such as cancellation or no-show fees, collected in the date range.

Projected Fees: Expected revenue from fees scheduled to be applied later in the date range.
Running this report on a phone shows your current and projected sales during a selected date range in a stacked bar chart.

In Chart View, a bar chart shows the total amount of sales you could potentially make based on your current sales. Select a segment to view a breakdown of the transactions that make up that segment.

In Grid View, the amounts for each segment are shown in separate cards.
To run the Sales Trends report:

At the top of the screen, select the Date Range to report on. The report updates automatically each time you change the date range.

Charge Types: Show data on trends for specific items, like services, projections, rent, and fees.

Optionally, next to Filters
, use the drop-down list to group data by the Week, Year, Month, or Day.

Running this report on the web, tablet, Pay Desk, or PayPro shows your current and projected sales during a selected date range in a stacked bar chart.

In Chart View, a bar chart shows the total amount of sales you could potentially make based on your current sales. Select a segment to view a breakdown of the transactions that make up that segment.

In Grid View, the amounts for each segment are shown in a table.
To run the Sales Trends report:

Set the date range for your report:

In the top-right corner, select Date Range
to open the date picker.

Use the date picker to choose a date range or a preset range like Yesterday or Last 7 Days.

If you manually selected a date range, select Submit.

You can drill into each data point in your chart to find more information about each appointment, class, or transaction.
