A General Tag is a keyword or a phrase that is added to a customer's profile. It can be used as an identifier or as a way to locate a client. For example, you can add a general tag such as VIP to designate specific profiles with a VIP status. General Tags are not case-sensitive, but if they are misspelled, or hyphenated, the system will consider it as a different tag. If two customers have a different spelling of the same tag, they will not display together on the Customer List Report.
To add a general tag to a customer profile on the web version, follow these steps:

Click Customers.

Select the customer.

Select the Profile tab.

Click Edit Profile.

Enter a General Tag in the box under General Tag.
You can enter multiple tags separated by commas. Then click out of the box to see the general tags you have entered.
