Vagaro businesses can purchase a Text Messaging plan with a set number of monthly messages and a toll-free number provided by Twilio. You can then use your plan to access Text Marketing and Connect by Vagaro features.
When you send a text through Connect by Vagaro or as part of a text campaign, the cost for each message is measured in credits from your Text Messaging plan. The number of credits required for each message depends on how many segments it contains. A segment is a portion of your message that fits within the character limits set by SMS networks, and each segment costs one credit. Short messages fit into one segment, but longer ones are split into multiple segments so they can be sent and reassembled on the recipient’s device.

If you disable this feature before your billing date, you will still be charged for the feature at the end of your billing cycle, regardless of when you deactivated it.

Select a plan.

The system will generate a random number to choose from. Select one, then select Next. A popup will appear for businesses in the United Kingdom to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) verification requirements.

If you're in the United Kingdom, submit your Company Registration Number or government-issued ID, then select Next.

For Businesses: Enter your Company Registration Number (CRN). Your CRN can typically be found on your company's registration documents or on the Comapnies House website.

For Individuals: Upload a government-issued driving license or identification.

Select Get Started to go to the Marketing Dashboard.
Once you activate your plan, the toll-free number you selected will go through a review process that typically takes at least two business days. Approval requires a valid name and address associated with your Vagaro account. Ensure that the business account owner's profile contains a valid first and last name and that the business profile includes a valid business address. A P.O. box is not considered a valid address.
Important
You will not be able to send text messages or campaigns while Pending Review. You must wait until the number is approved. If your phone number still hasn't been approved within three business days or was denied, contact Vagaro Support.
You can view if you've been approved in the bottom-left corner of the Email & Text Campaign or Connect by Vagaro screens.
