When you send a message to your customer for the first time through Connect by Vagaro, a vCard will be sent to your customer with your name and contact information. This helps avoid confusion and lets the customer know who's contacting them. The vCard is only sent when the business hasn't contacted the customer through Connect by Vagaro and will use up two credits from your plan.
While Connect by Vagaro does not require a Text Messaging plan to reply to customer messages or chat with coworkers, we highly recommend purchasing at least the small text plan to utilize all the feature's functionality. This way, you can send direct SMS messages to your customers without relying on them being active on Vagaro.com or the app.

Chatting with team members (Free): Chatting with team members at your business is free and does not require a text marketing plan. Note that you can start a chat with a team member only if they have an employee profile created at your business. Multi-location businesses can chat with employees at other locations in their organization as well.

Customer receives or sends a message as a text message (Uses text plan): A creditwill be deducted from your plan for each message you exchange with your customer, including any messages they send you. All messages initiated by the business will be sent as text message and will use your text plan.
Note
More than one message may be deducted from your text plan, depending on the length of the message sent/received, if any emojis or unsupported languages were used, or if any images were added. See here to learn more.

Customer starts a chat through Vagaro (Free): Chats initiated by your customers through your booking page will not incur charges or require a Text Marketing plan. Once the customer ends the chat and closes the page, a messaging plan will be required to continue chatting with them.
Important
Your text messaging plan will be used if a customer replies to any Text Marketing campaigns or sends a direct text message to the number provided by Vagaro.

Customer receives a message through Vagaro (Free): Any replies or chats to your customer while they are active on the Vagaro website or app will not use your text plan.
With Connect by Vagaro's seamless integration with the Multi-Location feature, enterprise and multi-location businesses can stay connected with all their employees and customers.
Important
Each location will need its own Text Marketing plan and phone number to send messages through Connect by Vagaro.

Messaging Customers: If customer syncing is configured in your Multi-Location settings, the customers of all locations within a multi-location group will be combined together into one large customer list. A location within that group can then search for and message any customers from that combined set of customers, even if that customer was originally created at another business. Note that any chats with that customer will only be saved at the business; other locations will not see those messages.
Note
Customers can only be synced from within a group. If your locations are separated into multiple groups, one location can't message a customer from another group.

Messaging Team Members: To ensure all multi-location businesses stay connected, you're able to message any team members from within your organization on Connect by Vagaro.

Is there a way to make it so each employee that sends a message has a signature ending? i.e - “Hi, customer. We will see you at noon today” - Jake R, Company Name.
