Text Promo Codes to Your Customers – Vagaro Support

After you create a promo code in the Discounts screen, you can add it to a text marketing message to send to your customers to apply toward purchases on the Vagaro Listing Page. You can later check the discount's performance report to see how many customers booked with this campaign.

Prerequisites: This feature requires Text Marketing.

On a Phone

To add a promo code to a text campaign:

Select More → Email & Text Marketing.
At the bottom of the screen, select Create Campaign.
Choose delivery method and subject line:
1. Select Text as the delivery method.
2. Enter the Text Subject Line. This subject line is visible only to you, not to customers. You can customize the header with the following options:
  - Select Enhance with Vera to write your subject with AI.
  - While editing the subject line, select Insert First Name or Insert First & Last to add a placeholder.
3. Select Next.
From the campaign setup screen, select Text Message and begin drafting your campaign.
1. In the Compose Text field, enter your text message. A preview of your message appears.
2. Select Insert Link → Promo Code, then choose the discount you want to include. The discount code will be added to the text.

  Creating a promo code doesn't apply it automatically. Your customers still need to enter the code at checkout, so we recommend letting them know to do that in your message.
3. Select Save.
From the campaign setup screen, select the checkbox to confirm you've reviewed all changes for accuracy, then select Start or Send.

Go to Marketing , then select Create Campaign under Email & Text Marketing.
On the campaign dashboard, select Create Campaign in the top-left corner. The Delivery Method pop-up appears.
Choose delivery method and subject line:
1. Select Text as the delivery method.
2. Under Select Delivery Method, select Text.
3. Enter the Text Subject Line. This subject line is visible only to you, not to customers. You can customize the header with the following options:
  - Select Enhance with Vera to write your subject with AI.
  - Select Emoji to add emojis to your subject.
  - Select Name to auto-populate the customer's First Name and First & Last Name in the subject.
4. Select Save.
From the campaign setup screen, select Text Message and begin drafting your campaign.

2. Select Insert Link → Promo Code, then choose the discount you want to include. The discount code will be added to the text.
