We need to be able to adjust checkout appointments as sometimes numbers are entered wrong.

Hi Christy, if your appointments weren't checked out with a credit card, you can undo the checkout of a service and redo it. See here. However, if your appointments were checked out with a credit card, you'll need to refund your customers (see here) and then check them out again.

    Thanks, Jamie

HI. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT ON HOW TO REMOVE THE TIP ON SERVICES THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE A TIP. MEDICAL TREATMENTS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE TIPS. KINDLY HELP ME

Hi, there! You can turn off the feature that asks customers to add a tip.

    1. Open the Checkout Settings popup:

    • On the web, tablet, or Pay Desk, select the drop-down arrow beside the green Checkout button, and then select Checkout Settings.
    • On a phone, tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.

    2. Select Don't Ask for Tip, then select Save.

Note that you'll have to manually enter a tip if you turn on this option.

You can find more information about setting up tips in this article:

Will this automatically redirect to the assigned service provider?

    Hi Megan,

You will need to ensure the correct service provider has been selected at Checkout. Here is an example
Selecting the service provider for this workaround will ensure that the employee gets the tip.

    Thank you,

    Jamie

Where do we go to ensure that this correct service provider is selected to ensure they get the tip? I don’t see it on my app or phone check out screens. Thanks.

Hi Jake, this depends on what type of transaction you're making. If you're following the steps in this article, please see the comment above for more information.

If you're processing a normal transaction, the employee assigned to the service will receive the tip.

    Thanks, Jamie

Hi, how do I see the pop-up for tips if the service price is 0, such as for prepaid packages where gratutity was not included when package was originally purchased?

Hi Anisa, in that case, you would need to manually enter the tip for the transaction at Checkout.
