The Appointment Summary Report shows the status of all appointments in a bar graph within the selected date range. All appointments that you or the customer book will initially display as Service Pending before they are checked out. This report is perfect for analyzing your no-shows, cancellations, and upcoming appointments in one report. If you want to dig deeper into the appointments that were cancelled, or which customers no-showed to their appointments, run the Cancellation and No-Shows Report.
Six types of appointments are color-coded in the Chart View. The Legend on the right side of the report displays what each color represents. You can select (mobile) or hover over (web, tablet, or Pay Desk) a section of the bar chart to see how many appointments are categorized as that appointment type:
-
Requested: Requested appointments on the Calendar that have not been approved by the business.
-
Accepted: Requested appointments on the Calendar that have been accepted.
-
Awaiting Confirmation: An appointment confirmation was sent to the customer.
-
Confirmed: The customer has confirmed the appointment.
-
Show: Appointments marked as Show on the Calendar.
-
Cancelled: You or the customer cancelled the appointment.
-
Deleted: You deleted the appointment from the calendar.
-
Denied: You denied a pending appointment.
-
No-Show: You marked the appointment as a No-Show on the Calendar.
-
Ready to Start Appointments marked as Ready to Start on the Calendar.
-
In Progress: Appointments marked as In Progress on the Calendar.
-
Service Completed: You checked out the appointment.

This report is useless. LOL.
I hate that we have to make a new forum for something that is similar.
I need to be able to run a report that shows All appointments that are NOT checked out or showing pending. I need to be able to see the actual person / date of the appointment that is not checked out. Sometimes I check out appointments in the mobile app and they do not check out on the web and therefore the reporting is off. How can I get a report like that?
Hi Di Di.
In this case, I would also advise doing this from the customer's profile, but you would have to run this report from the web version. Follow these steps:
You would have to do this individually for each customer but you would at least be able to see each customer's appointments based on the status. I can send a feature request to our development team.
What is the difference between this report and the Cancellation/NO Show report? When I run this report it shows 4 cancellations for today - when I run the Cancellation/NO Show report it shows 16 cancellations for today. Help?
Hi Melissa,
Please reach out to our Support Team directly so they can look into this further with you and get you an answer to why this is happening. You can reach them at sales.vagaro.com/contact by phone, email, or live chat.
Thank you!
This report should show which customers had deleted appointments, not just how many were deleted.
The Cancellations and No Shows report will give you that information. You can select a date rate and an "Event" type (appointment or class). If you do not select a particular customer, it will include all customers. Lastly, under Advanced Filters, you can select the Status type: No Show, Cancel, Denied, Deleted, or run for All statuses.
When the report runs, you can sort the columns on any heading, like Customer.
Hope this provides the information you need.
It would be more helpful if there was a toggle that could show what appointments were on the book and canceled. Rosy Salon Software does this & it's so nice to see what was on your day.
Please consider entering this as a feature request. Thanks!
This report is pointless if you can’t see the client name/info that was deleted, canceled, etc
Hi Jamie,
The Appointment Summary report provides a high-level view of your appointment statuses over a set time period. If you want to dig deeper, you can use the Cancellation & No-Show report to see the exact customers that cancelled or no-showed to your appointments. I will submit this comment as a feature request, and we appreciate your feedback.
Thanks,
Jamie
