Set up a personal chatbot for your business with Vagaro AI to handle customer communication through automated responses in Connect by Vagaro. The chatbot replies to messages from your Vagaro Listing Page and, if you have a Text Marketing plan, to SMS messages sent to your assigned phone number.
Customize the AI to fit your business needs. You can have it respond:

During a custom schedule.
Pause the AI whenever you want or step in to take over a conversation. If the AI can’t answer a question or a customer asks for a human, the chat is transferred to a team member. Once transferred, Vagaro AI will not respond to that customer for 24 hours. After this window, it will resume handling the chat.

The feature also includes a report showing how many messages the AI handles compared to your employees.

Vagaro AI can handle multiple requests and complete different tasks for your customers:

Answer questions about your business, such as its location, hours, services, products, facility information, and so on.

Cancel their appointments.

Display information about their upcoming appointments and classes.

Display information about what products they've purchased.

Display information on what packages and memberships they've purchased
Vagaro AI cannot currently view the availability of an employee's Calendar, schedule new appointments, or reschedule appointments. Instead, the AI will send the customer a link to book, reschedule, etc. The link will be tracked, and you can view your Source report to see how many appointments the bot helped generate.
Note
The Vagaro AI will also respond to incoming SMS messages. Your plan will be deducted for each message sent and received by the AI.
Activate Vagaro AI and configure your chatbot.
To activate Vagaro AI:

Go to Connect by Vagaro:

On a Phone or Tablet: Download or open the Connect app.

On the Web: Log in to your Vagaro business, then select the Chat Bubble button.

Go to Connect AI:

On a Phone or Tablet: In the bottom-right corner, select Profile, then select Vagaro AI.

Web Version: In the bottom-left corner, select Settings.

On the Vagaro AI screen, select Activate.

Under AI Settings, configure your bot:

Reply to All Chats: The AI will be the first point of contact for all incoming chats. You can always take over if needed.

Reply During Business' Off Hours: The AI will only respond to incoming chats outside your business's working hours.

Reply During Custom Hours: The AI will only respond to chats that come in during the Day of the week and Start/End hours you set.

Pause Temporarily: Turn off Connect AI until you turn off this setting.

Select Save.
If the AI can't answer the customer's question or the customer requests to talk to a person, the chat is automatically transferred to the business so the business can respond. The business can also take over a chat at any time.
To take control of a chat:

Go to Connect by Vagaro:

On a Phone or Tablet: Download or open the Connect app.

On the Web: Log in to your Vagaro business, then select the Chat Bubble button.

In your customer chats, select the conversation you want to take control of.

At the bottom of the chat, select Take Over.
