When chatting with customers on Connect by Vagaro, you can send reminders for upcoming appointments, reschedule appointments, request that they rebook, or pay an invoice. Each reminder has a pre-written response to your customer and includes a link that goes directly to your Vagaro Listing Page.
Prerequisites: While Connect by Vagaro does not require a Text Messaging plan, we recommend at least a Small messaging plan to utilize all of Connect's functionality. Connect by Vagaro is not yet available for the Vagaro Pay Desk.
To send a reminder:

Go to Connect by Vagaro:

On a Phone or Tablet: Download or open the Connect app.

Web Version: Log in to your Vagaro business, then select the Chat Bubble button.

Create a new chat or select an ongoing chat.

View your chat details:

Connect by Vagaro App: Select the Action menu in the top-right corner, then select View Details.

Web Version: All chat details will be displayed on the right side of the screen.

Choose what kind of reminder to send:

Upcoming Appointments: Remind your customers about upcoming appointments or class sessions, ask them to reschedule, or view the appointment on the Calendar.

Past Appointments: Remind your customer to rebook a service or class they've previously purchased.

Recent Purchases: Remind your customers to repurchase any packages, memberships, products, or gift cards they've previously purchased.

Outstanding Payments: Remind your customers of any outstanding or overdue invoices.

Pending IOU: Remind your customers of any outstanding IOUs
Note
Any popup notes attached to the customer's profile will be displayed under Popup Notes, which are hidden from your customer.

Send the reminder:

Connect by Vagaro App: Select the reminder, then select Message to....

Web Version: Hover over the reminder, select the Action menu, and then select Message to...
Note
When sending an Upcoming Appointment reminder, you can either Message Appointment Details, Message to Reschedule, or View on Calendar.
Selecting View on Calendar will bring you to the appointment on the Calendar screen.

In the displayed template message, select Send to send the message.
