Use this article to find the right way to update your merchant account information. Some changes can be made directly in your merchant account, while others require you to reapply for Credit Card Processing or contact Vagaro Support.
Common merchant account changes include:

Update or Add Your EIN: Reapply for Credit Card Processing

Update Legal Business Name: Submit the legal business name change to the IRS, then send your new SS-4 form to support@vagaro.com.

Update Legal Business Name and EIN: You only need to reapply for Credit Card Processing if you want to change both your Legal Business Name and EIN.

Update Doing Business As (DBA): If you want to change the DBA shown in your customers' credit card statements, you can do so directly in your merchant account.

Update Business Type (Sole Proprietor, LLC, S-Corp, etc.: If you changed your business type, you'll need to reapply for credit card processing with your new business information.

Update Business Address: If you changed your business address, you can change it directly in your merchant account.

Update Mailing Address: You'll need to edit your merchant account to update your mailing address.

Upload New Driver's License or ID: Email support@vagaro.com and provide a picture (front and back) of your new driver's license or ID.

Change My Legal Name: If you changed your legal name for any reason, email support@vagaro.com and provide an ID as proof of the change.

Change Bank for Deposits: If you want to change your bank account for deposits, see Update Bank for Deposits.
Prerequisites: This feature requires Credit Card Processing.
Use this section to find the right way to update your merchant information.
Important
If you need to make multiple changes to your merchant account and one of those changes requires you to reapply for merchant services, you don’t need to repeat the steps for the other changes. Just ensure that you provide the correct information when you reapply.
You can only edit the following information in your merchant account:

Doing Business As (DBA) shown on customers' statements

Business address
-
Home address
-
Phone number
-
Phone number shown on customers' statements

Email Address
To update your merchant account information:

Go to your Merchant Account settings:

Vagaro Pro App: Select → .

Computer: Select your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select Merchant Accounts.

If your business has more than one merchant account, make sure the correct account is selected:

Vagaro Pro App: Use the Merchant Account list to select the correct account.

Computer: Use the Merchant list to select the correct account.

Go to Merchant Info, then select Edit.

Enter your information, then select Verify.
Note
If you can't verify your information, you'll need to contact Vagaro Support for assistance.

Update your information.

Select Save to finish.
Important
You only need to reapply for Credit Card Processing if you entered your business EIN incorrectly, are changing your business name, or if you are changing your Business Type (LLC, Sole Proprietor, S-Corp, and so on).
To reapply for Credit Card Processing:

Go to Credit Card Processing:

Phone: Select → → .

Computer, Tablet, Pay Desk, or PayPro: Select → .

Start the reapplication process:

Phone: Use the Merchant list to select Apply for Vagaro Merchant Services.

Computer, Tablet, Pay Desk, or PayPro: Use the Merchant Account list to select Apply for Vagaro Merchant Services.

In the {Your Name} Already has a Merchant Account pop-up, select Change Business Entity Type, then select Continue.

Complete the Credit Card Processing application, then contact Vagaro Support to close the old Merchant Account.
