Dot Phrases allow you to quickly insert pre-written text into forms and SOAP notes, saving time and ensuring consistency. Once created, you can trigger a dot phrase by typing a period (.) followed by your shortcut name (e.g., .botox) directly in a form.
To create a dot phrase:

Go to Forms
.

In the top-left corner, go to Dot Phrases.

Select Create New.

In New Dot Phrase, enter a Dot Phrase Shortcut.
Tip
When creating your shortcut, begin with a period, then enter something that's easy to remember.

Enter the Dot Phrase Content. This content will appear when you use the shortcut you created.

Select Save.
Once your dot phrase is set up, you can insert it into any text box while completing a form or SOAP note. Just type the shortcut to add the content. Dot phrases are only available to you, not your customers.
To use a dot phrase:

Begin filling out a form or SOAP note.

Go to a text box within the form or SOAP note.

Enter "." and choose the dot phrase.
The content of your dot phrase will appear.
To manage dot phrases:

Go to Forms
.

In the top-left corner, go to Dot Phrases.

To find a specific dot phrase, use the search bar to search through your list of dot phrases.

To manage your dot phrase, select Action
and choose an option:

Edit: Make changes to your dot phrase.

Duplicate: Make a copy of this dot phrase.

Delete: Remove this dot phrase.
