The Check-in app makes it easy to welcome customers as soon as they arrive. Whether they’re scanning a membership card, entering their name, or signing in for an appointment or class, the app helps you manage the process quickly. You can also check in appointments, prompt customers to complete required forms, or cancel appointments and classes when needed.
Prerequisites: This feature requires the Vagaro Check-in app.
Check in your customers directly from the check-in app. Once successfully checked in, their visit will be recorded in the Check-in Log report and in their customer profile in the Check-Ins tab. An upcoming appointment or class is not required to check in. For example, if you sell a gym membership, you can track who's coming and going from your business without needing to book services or classes.
To check in your customers:

Log in to your business account from the Check-in app.

Bring up the customer's account through one of the following ways:

With Membership Card or QR Code: Use your device's camera to scan your customer's membership card or QR code.

Without Card or QR Code: Select Check in, enter your customer's name and select them, have them enter their password, and then select Check In.

Depending on your settings, the option to purchase a new membership may appear. Have your customer choose a membership or select Skip, if applicable.
Once, checked in. The customer's profile will show any services or classes they have scheduled for that day. You can help them check in their bookings or schedule a new one for them.
To mark an appointment or class as checked-in:

After bringing up the customer's profile, next to their booking, have them select Check-in.

Optionally, if a form is required, it will prompt them to fill it out.

Once you've checked in, a successful check-in popup will display. From the popup, select Done.
The appointment or class has been checked in. It will show a Checked In status from the Check-in app, and the appointment or class will be marked as Show in Vagaro as well. Once the customer completes their class, you can check them out from Vagaro, if applicable.
To cancel an appointment or class for your customer:

After bringing up your customer's profile, next to their booking, have them select Action
.

The button to check in the appointment will change to Cancel Appointment or Cancel Class. Have them select Cancel Appointment or Cancel Class.

Have them select OK to confirm the cancellation.
The appointment or class will be removed and can no longer be checked in.
