Integrating Instagram with your Vagaro Account

In your Instagram account, go to Edit Profile and then Action Buttons.

Select Book Now.

Select Vagaro Booking on the Select a Partner screen.

Login to Vagaro with your credentials.
Note
If you have a multi-location business, you'll be asked to select which one to use for the authorization process. Select one business and tap Continue.

Tap Authorize on the Facebook access screen.

Tap Continue as [your account name] on the Connect to Instagram screen.

Confirm settings by tapping Continue.
Your profile page now shows the Book Now button.

When I click to add an action button it says Vagaro Booking not just Vagaro and it has me log in to Vagaro and then it just opens up Vagaro’s homepage. Nowhere does it say “Done” in the corner and nowhere does it give me an option to enter a url

Instagram has recently changed their process for integrating Booking softwares. We are looking into this with their help, so that we can provide the correct steps to you. Stay tuned, as we will be updating this post once we can confirm the correct steps.

Six months ago you were looking for a solution to Vagaro booking through instagram. I am trying to get this done and having no luck, even after creating a Facebook Business Manager Account as instruction through Instagram. Have you made any progress because I am going in circles trying to figure this out.

Thank you for your patience as we have continued to work on this issue. We have been in contact with Instagram to resolve this issue, and they recently let us know about new changes they made to the Integration that should stop the error messages being received. After further testing we have found that the Integration is still not working properly and are again in contact with Instagram working on a fix.
Once we have confirmation that the Integration is working properly I will post an update here.

It’s been 3 months since your last response about this issue. I am trying to add VagaroPro book now to my salons Instagram and it seems this issue is still not resolved. Do you have an ETA on it yet?
I am having an issue with adding Vagaro to my business instagram. It does not give me the steps as it does in the pictures above. I do not have an option to add action. I have action buttons and when I go to that and click Vagaro it just takes me to the website. No option to add the url or anything.

Vagaro is not listed as an option to add booking. Please fix your Marketing site tab.

I am very upset that I went to add this book now which I had but changed the name and now the option is not there?? When will this be fixeD?
Hi, we currently are trying to add this to our instagram page but Vagaro is not popping up as one of our options on instagram. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Yes, we keep hearing “we are still working with instagram”, but it’s literally been over a year. Someone’s not really “working” together with the other. And why do the other booking sites not seem to have this issue. I don’t know...
Any updates on when this will be fixed? I started using Vagaro for my business with the sole purpose of Instagram booking. It has been months now.
I have figured out how to do it! Go to your integrations settings and integrate and do the authorization with FaceBook, a few minutes later go to Instagram > Edit Profile > Action Button and it will show Book Now w/ Vagaro already setup. Hope this helps!
It is FIXED! I just tried it on a test account in Instagram and, indeed, the Vagaro booking button is there to add.
We've gotten all the way to step 5, but we keep getting an "ERROR Business Cannot Be Found" "we were unable to locate any business from your vagaro booking account"
I've signed in using our account owner sign in info and it still says this? any way to help that?

Trevon: It looks like "Creator" account is a Facebook or Instagram construction and not something that Vagaro has control over. Please contact Facebook for support on this.
Still does not work directly through Instagram, just signs you into vagaro to book an appointment when you try to link. I figured it out through my Facebook page but I how have a colleague trying to set it up via Instagram and does not have Facebook to do it the way I did it.

I have the same issue as Allison’s colleague. I do not have a Facebook page to hook up to my professional Instagram page and I cannot add the ‘book now’ button.

Hey there! We have connected through Business Manager, however, the profile still shows "Action Buttons: None Active". When you tap on it, it clearly shows "Book Now: Vagaro Booking". Are we missing one final step? The profile is @Kissed_Peach_Wax_Saloon.
