Change the Status of a Class

Class statuses allow you to keep track of your classes and stay organized. You can mark a class as ready to start, in progress, or cancelled to plan out your day and document changes to your classes on your Calendar. Each class on the calendar also has a color associated with each status so you can see how your day is going at just a glance. The status color is either shown as a bar on the left side of the class or will change the color of the entire class card on the Calendar.

Keep in mind this article covers changing the status of a class on the Calendar. You can also manage the statuses of class attendees as well.

Prerequisites: This feature requires a scheduled class on the calendar.

Change a Class's Status

On both the web version and Vagaro Pro app, you can select a class on the Calendar and then Change Status by selecting one of the following options:

• Ready to Start Class: If you have the Contactless Check-In feature enabled at your business, mark a class as ready to notify all attendees that they can come in to start the class or join the virtual session.

• Start Class (Live Stream Video): If you have the Vagaro Live Stream feature enabled and scheduled a live-streamed class, begin the live stream.

• Class in Progress: Mark that the class is in progress.

• Cancel: Cancel the class and notify customers of the cancellation.

• Delete: Remove this class from your Calendar entirely without notifying any of the attendees.

What Each Status Color Means

	Accepted (light blue) Class is on the calendar, and customers can register online or in-house.
	Ready to Start (blue) Businesses using the Contactless Check-In feature can notify customers that they're ready to start the class.
	In Progress (green) You have started this class.
	Complete (grey) This class has been completed and checked out.
