Add a Service Category or Class Category – Vagaro Support

Grouping your services and classes into categories makes them easier to find and organize. Categories can also be color-coded so they can be quickly identified at a glance on the calendar.

Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.

Add a Service Category

On a Phone

To add a service category to your service/class menu:

Select More → Settings → Service/Class Menu.
Select Services to view your service menu.
At the bottom of the screen, select Add, and then select Category.
Enter the Category Name.
Optionally, select a Color for the category.
Select Save

On a Computer, Tablet, Pay Desk, or PayPro

To add a service category to your service/class menu:

Select Settings → Service/Class Menu.

Your service menu will be shown by default.
Select Add, and then select Category.
Enter a Title for the category.
Optionally, select a color for the category.
Select Save.

Add a Class Category

On a Phone

To add a class category:

Select More → Settings → Service/Class Menu.
Select Classes to view your class menu.
At the bottom of the screen, select Add, and then select Category.
Enter the Category Name.
Optionally, select a Color for the category.
Select Save.

On the Web and Tablet

To add a service category:

Select Settings → Service/Class Menu.

Your service menu will be shown by default.
Select the Classes tab.
Select Add, and then select Category
Enter a Title for the category.
Optionally, select a color for the category.
Select Save.
