Enable the Require Acceptance for Personal Tasks setting in your employees' access levels so that their manager has to approve or deny their personal tasks. When an employee creates a personal task with Block Online Booking selected, their manager will receive a notification via email and in Vagaro to review. All pending, approved, or declined tasks can be tracked and managed in the Time Off Report. Personal task requests can be approved from:

The Notification Panel .

The employee's Calendar.

The Time Off report.

Your email.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses. In the US, Vagaro Payroll is recommended if you want to create time off policies to specify and track how much paid time off employees can take.
To require acceptance for personal tasks:

Go to Access Levels.

On a Phone: Go to → → → .

On the Web, Tablet, or Pay Desk: Go to → → .

For the access level you want to modify, select the Action menu, then select Edit.

Ensure that the access level has Control Own Calendar set to View and Modify and Require Acceptance for Personal Tasks is enabled.

Select Save.
By default, the business owner is set as every employee's manager (Reports To) unless another employee is selected. You can change
To review all employee requests:

Go to the Notification Panel , then select View.

In Personal Task Request, select View.

Check if there are any scheduling conflicts. You can edit the appointment, drag and drop, or move it to another day or employee's calendar.

Select the request on the Calendar.

Respond to the request:

Select Approve to grant the time off.

Select Deny, then enter a reason to reject the time off.

The pending request will be updated on the employee's calendar once approved, or if the request was denied, they'll receive an email with a reason why.
