If you've switched to Vagaro from another scheduling system or want to add your contacts from another source, Vagaro can import your customer list from an Excel spreadsheet, Google, Outlook, and Yahoo, another software, as well as from another Vagaro account.
Importing or sharing a customer profile from another Vagaro account can be performed automatically in Vagaro after approval has been granted from the source business. The import process could take up to two hours to complete the import, depending on the number of contacts you're importing.

Our Import Team can import your client list directly to your account for you. New Vagaro businesses importing information from another software are eligible for a one-time, free premium import by our Import Team.
Send your exported customer list in a formatted Excel or CSV file to support@vagaro.com.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
Importing customers from your contact list on an Apple or Android phone is also performed in the Vagaro Pro app. If you try to start the process on the web in the Import Management screen by selecting Mobile Device, you will be prompted to use your phone instead.
To import your customer's information from your phone:

If Vagaro prompts you to accept the terms of services to access your contact list, select the checkbox, then select Agree.

If your phone prompts you to allow Vagaro Pro to access your contacts, select OK.

Select Import Contacts.

Select the contacts to import into Vagaro or Select All, then select Done.

Select OK on the confirmation screen.

In the Import Summary screen, review, update, or unselect any invalid contacts.

Select the back arrow on the Import Summary page when done.
Tip
To see the progress of the import in Vagaro Pro, go to the Customers screen, select the Action menu at the top of the screen, then select Refresh. Any contacts that have been imported will appear in your customer list.

Optionally, use the web version of Vagaro to invite customers to visit your Vagaro Listing Page.
Your customer list can be imported from the following sources:
If you manage your customer list in an Excel spreadsheet you can import this file into Vagaro to manage your customers with their bookings. This process requires that the columns in your spreadsheet be in a specific order so that your customers' information is entered in the correct fields. Vagaro provides a sample Excel file you can download to make sure that your columns and their content are organized correctly to be imported.
To import your contact list from an Excel spreadsheet:

Go to Import Management.

In the Excel box, if you haven't already, download the sample excel file, then format your contact list as shown in the template.

In the Excel box, select Download a sample Excel file for a template of how the columns in your Excel spreadsheet need to be organized so it can be correctly imported into Vagaro.

Update your customer list according to the sample Excel file.

Select Import.

In the Vagaro File Uploader popup, select Browse to choose your customer list to import, then select Upload.
Note
If you encounter errors while importing Excel spreadsheet, clear your browser's cache and cookies and then try uploading the file again.

Complete the import process.
Note
Your Excel file can have only one sheet. If there are multiple sheets, a popup will inform you that says that you'll need to remove the other sheets.
You'll have to either delete the other sheets or save the contents of the main sheet into another Excel file that has only one sheet, then try uploading the file again.

To import your customer contacts from your Google account:

In the Sign in with Google popup window, select and sign into your Google account, then select Continue.

When prompted to allow Vagaro to access your Google account, select Continue.

In the Import Summary screen, review, update, or unselect any invalid contacts.

Select Import.

Select a Service Provider to assign the imported customers.

Optionally, select Invite customers to your Vagaro booking page to send an invitation email with a link to your Vagaro Listing Page, then select Proceed.

Select OK to confirm the import.

To import customer information from your Outlook contact list:

Enter your Microsoft login (your email address, phone number, or Skype ID), then select Next.

Enter your Microsoft password, then select Sign in.

When prompted to allow Vagaro to access your Microsoft contacts, select Yes.

Select Import.

Select a Service Provider to assign the imported customers.
