If one of your employees moves to another business on Vagaro, they may request to transfer their customers, appointment data, Vagaro Drive files, service menu, and other relevant information to their new place of work. As the business owner, you can choose which data is transferred to the other business. Once the transfer has been initiated, the employee's new place of work must approve the request on their end before any transfer is made.
Prerequisites: Only the business account owner can transfer data to another Vagaro account. The business account owner of the other business must also approve the request before the data can be shared.
Before you transfer employee data, ensure that their new place of work has created an employee profile for them and that the account at your business has services, classes, and working hours assigned to their profile. The option to Transfer Employee Data will not appear if these requirements are not met. The owner at the original business must start the transfer.
At the target business, the business owner must approve the request before the employee's data is sent over. After requesting the transfer, they will receive an email and text notification, and a card will display in the Notification Panel.
You'll receive an email notification if the other business owner denies your transfer request. You can request the transfer again, or you can contact the business owner directly and ask them to start the transfer process from their side.
