To clear the cache and history on a web browser if the device is running slower than usual, select one of the links below:

Launch the Microsoft Edge browser. Click the action menu (3 horizontal dots) and then scroll down and select Settings.

Select Privacy, search, and services on the sidebar menu. Then, under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

Select the checkboxes next to each item you want to clear, including Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files.

You can select a Time range from just the Last hour, through All time.

Click Clear now when you've made your selections.

Close all browser windows and restart Microsoft Edge.

Launch the Firefox browser. Click the Action menu (3 horizontal lines). Select Options.
Note
Depending on the Firefox version, this selection may be named Options or Settings.

Click Privacy & Security.

Go to the History section on the page. Then click Clear History.

Click the drop-down next to Time Range to clear. Select Everything. Select Browsing & Download History, Form & Search History, Cookies, and Cache. Then click Clear Now.

Close all Firefox windows and restart.

Launch the Google Chrome browser. Click the Action menu (3 vertical dots.)

Hover over More Tools. Then select Clear browsing data.

Select the Advanced tab.

Select the Time range. For example, if you select All time, it will clear all your past browsing data.

Select the items you want to remove. Then click CLEAR DATA.

Close all browser windows and restart Google Chrome.

Launch the Safari browser. Click Safari at the top of the screen. Then select Clear History.

Select a time range. For example, if you select all history, it will clear all your past browsing data.

Click Clear History.

Close the browser once you're finished clearing the history. Then launch a new Safari browser window.
