The Vagaro receipt printer is an easy-to-use device for printing customer receipts via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, or using an Ethernet or USB connection. The printer can be connected to multiple devices so employees can print directly from the Vagaro website, as well as in the Vagaro Pro app on a phone, tablet, or the Pay Desk.
Note
Due to the limitations of third-party libraries on Amazon devices, Vagaro receipt printers are not supported on Amazon Fire Tablets and Kindles.
You can pair your device to the Vagaro receipt printer in one of four ways:

Bluetooth Pairing (Vagaro Pro only): Pair your Vagaro receipt printer with your device. This option is recommended for single-person businesses because only one device can be connected at a time via Bluetooth.

Wi-Fi Connectivity: Connect to your Vagaro receipt printer over your Wi-Fi. This option is great for sharing and use between multiple employees.
Note
Keep in mind that the Vagaro Receipt Printer is only compatible with 2.4 GHz band networks. After setting up your printer, you can switch your device (such as a computer, mobile phone, Pay Desk, or PayPro) to a 5 GHz network if desired. The printer will still function normally, allowing you to print receipts even when your device is connected to the 5 GHz network.

Ethernet Connectivity: Connect your Vagaro receipt printer to your router. This option is great for sharing and use between multiple employees.

USB Connection (computer only): Connect your computer directly to your Vagaro receipt printer. This option is great for businesses with a single point of checkout, like the Pay Desk or a receptionist.

Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
To add a new printer:

Go to Add Receipt Printer
→ , and then select -
Select Vagaro Receipt Printer.

Follow the on-screen instructions to plug in and set up the printer.

When prompted on how to connect to your printer, select a connection method.

Bluetooth: Make sure that Bluetooth pairing is enabled and that no one else at your business is connected to the printer (the Vagaro receipt printer can only pair with one device at a time), and then start the pairing process.

Wireless Internet: Make sure your mobile device has Wi-Fi enabled and is connected to your business’s Wi-Fi, and then start the pairing process. Follow the on-screen instructions for Wi-Fi pairing, select your Wi-Fi network, enter Wi-Fi password, and then Confirm Network Connection.

Wired Ethernet (cable is not included): Make sure your Vagaro receipt printer is connected to your router with an Ethernet cable.

When your device has found your Vagaro receipt printer, verify the printer’s name, CloudPrint_XXXX (where XXXX is the last four digits of the serial number), and then select Test. A test receipt is printed.
Note
If the printer is not found, select Need Help? to view our troubleshooting guide. Select Try Again to search again for the printer.

When prompted to confirm that the test receipt printed, select yes. If nothing printed, select No, follow the on-screen troubleshooting instructions, and then select Test to print another test receipt. If you still cannot print a test receipt, see our troubleshooting guide.

Enter a name for your printer, and then select Save Receipt Printer.
To add a new printer:

Go to the Checkout screen.

Select the down arrow beside the Checkout button, and then select Checkout Settings.

Scroll down to Receipt Printers and select Add Receipt Printer.

If you're prompted to download the Vagaro Printer Utility:

Select Download.
-
Run the Vagaro Receipt Printer setup file and follow the screens to install the utility.

Go back to the Checkout screen.

Follow the on-screen instructions to plug in and set up the printer.

When prompted on how to connect to your printer, select a connection method.

USB: Plug the USB-C cable into the back of your printer and computer, then select Next.

Wireless Internet: Make sure your mobile device has Wi-Fi enabled and is connected to your business’s Wi-Fi, and then start the pairing process. Follow the on-screen instructions for Wi-Fi pairing, select your Wi-Fi network, enter Wi-Fi password, and then Confirm Network Connection.

Wired Ethernet (cable is not included): Make sure your Vagaro receipt printer is connected to your router with an Ethernet cable.

After setting up your Vagaro receipt printer, you can perform these actions:
After your Vagaro receipt printer has been installed, make sure it is working correctly by printing a transaction from the Transaction List Report.
The first time you select and use your printer, your printer choice will be saved. Going forward, the same printer will be used each time you select Print.
To test your printer:

Go to the Transaction List Report screen.

Run a report.
-
Select any transaction, and then select Receipt.

In the receipt screen, select the arrow button next to Print, and then select your printer.

If no receipt is printed, see Troubleshooting Vagaro Receipt Printer.
If you connect your cash drawer to your printer, then whenever a receipt is printed, the cash drawer will automatically open.
To connect your cash drawer to your printer:

Plug in the provided RJ12 cable into the Vagaro receipt printer and the cash drawer.

Test your printer to verify that the cash drawer opens when a receipt is printed.
To rename your printer:

Go to the receipt printer's settings.

Vagaro Pro App: Go to → .

On the Web: In the Checkout screen, select the arrow button next to the Checkout, and then select Checkout Settings.

Scroll down to the Receipt Printers section, and then select the receipt printer.

Select Rename or Rename Printer.

Enter a new name for the printer.
-
Select Save.
To remove your printer:

Go to the receipt printer's settings.

Vagaro Pro App: Go to → .

On the Web: In the Checkout screen, select the arrow button next to the Checkout, and then select Checkout Settings.

Scroll down to the Receipt Printers section, and then select the receipt printer.

Select Remove Printer.
-
Select Remove Printer to confirm that you want to remove it.

Optionally, add another printer.
