Vagaro Live Stream enables you to attend and participate in remote services and classes from any location. You can book these appointments in the Vagaro customer app or on the web by visiting the Vagaro Listing Page of businesses that offer live stream sessions. Depending on the business, service, or class, you may be able to choose between booking one-on-one sessions with a service provider or joining a class remotely.
Classes or services available for live streaming are identified by the Live Stream icon. For classes, the number of open spots is also displayed.
Businesses might also charge a different price for live stream sessions than at their location. For classes, you can compare their prices by selecting the Information icon beside the class name.

Prerequisites: A Vagaro user account is required to complete this procedure. The Vagaro customer app is required if attending Vagaro live stream sessions on an iPhone or iPad.
To book a live stream service appointment:

Go to the business's Vagaro Listing Page or search for one that offers live stream services.

Select the Services tab and look for services with the Live Stream
icon.

Select Book Now (or Request if the business requires approval for bookings).

Choose the Date, Service Provider, and Time to book and pay for your appointment.
Note
The available times are based on the location you searched or your browser's location settings. You can change the displayed times by selecting the location next to Time Based On and entering the name of a different city.

Check your email and Vagaro app for the confirmation notification that your live stream booking has been successful.
Note
You will not receive a text message with your appointment details if you booked the appointment on the web.
You can also verify that your appointment has been booked in the Appointments screen:

Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select the Appointments
icon.

Web Version: Hover over your profile icon, select Appointments, then view the Upcoming tab.

To book a live stream class:

Go to the business's Vagaro Listing Page or search for one that offers live stream classes.

Select the Classes tab. Live stream classes are identified by a video camera

In the row of the class session to book, select Sign Up, Request (if the business requires approval for bookings), or Join Now (if the class is already in session).
Note

Enter your information to sign up and pay for the class.

Check your email and Vagaro app for the confirmation notification that your live stream booking has been successful.
Note
You will not receive a confirmation email if you booked the appointment on the web.
You can also verify that your appointment has been booked in the Appointments screen:

Web Version: Hover over your profile icon, select Appointments, then view the Upcoming tab.

When it's almost time for your live stream appointment or class to start, you will receive a reminder notification with a link to join the session, and another notification when the service provider or class instructor has begun the session.
Note
If you are joining the session on an iOS device (iPhone or iPad), make sure you have already downloaded the Vagaro app, or else you will prompted to download it.
If you are joining the session on an Android phone or tablet, you will be prompted to choose a web browser to join the live stream session.
When you've joined the session, you'll see a progress bar showing the length of your appointment and how much time is left until the end. Your service provider or class instructor can extend the time in 10-minute increments as needed.
If your session is being recorded, you will see a notification at the top of the screen.
To join a live stream session:

Log in to your Vagaro account on the web or in the Vagaro customer app.

Select your appointment's live stream link in one of the following ways:

To join via text message, open the starting notification text message, then select the provided link.

To join on the web, go to Vagaro.com, select your → , then select Join Live Stream. Depending on the business's cancellation policy, you may be able to Reschedule or select More to Cancel Appointment.

To join in the Vagaro app, select the Notifications
icon at the bottom of the screen, swipe left on the starting notification, then select Join Live Stream.

To join via email, open the starting notification email, then select the Join Live Stream button.

Check your live stream and hardware settings, then select Join Appointment or Join Class.

Verify that the name You are joining as is displayed correctly, or enter a new name.

Verify that your Speaker, Microphone, and Camera are working properly.

During the live stream session, you can perform the following tasks by selecting the corresponding buttons on the toolbar:

Turn your camera on or off.
-
Mute or unmute your microphone.
-
Open the Chat panel to ask a question or make a comment. If you're in a class, all attendees will also see your message.

See who else has joined the live stream (if you're in a class) and manage settings for your live stream

When the session is over or if you need to end the session early:

Leave the appointment.

Optionally, write a review of your appointment, then select Post Review.

After you've joined a live stream session, a toolbar is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
