Some businesses may have one or more kiosks set up around their business so you can quickly check in by yourself for your appointment or class by scanning your customer's QR code or signing in to your Vagaro account. Kiosks are tablets running Vagaro that allow you to register for a Vagaro account, book new appointments, purchase memberships, sign up for classes, as well as reschedule your bookings directly at the business without talking to an employee.
Prerequisites: If you check in or sign in by scanning your QR code, you need to download the Vagaro customer app. If you don't already have a Vagaro customer account, you can create one at a kiosk.
If you haven't booked a service or class at the Vagaro business you're visiting, you'll need to create a Vagaro customer account or log in to your Vagaro account before you can book an appointment or sign up for a class with any Vagaro business.
To create a new Vagaro customer account at a kiosk or become a customer at a Vagaro business:

On the kiosk's home screen, select Register.
If the business requires you to Choose Membership, select the membership to purchase, then select the Next
button in the top-right corner.

Provide the following information, then select the Next
button in the top-right corner.
-
Enter your First Name.
-
Enter your Last Name.
-
Enter your Mobile Number.
-
Enter your Email address.
Note
If you already have a Vagaro account that uses the same email address, you can either sign in with this account or enter a different email address.

Select and Create a Password.
-
Pose for a profile picture. You can also select Retake Photo as many times as you'd like before continuing.
-

Review your information and select whether you want to receive Appointment Reminders or Promotional Emails from the business, then select Done. If you need to correct any details, select Edit to go back.

If you selected to purchase a membership at the beginning of the registration process, complete the transaction in Your Shopping Cart. Optionally, if the business allows your membership to be shared with Family & Friends, select the checkmark, choose your members, then select Proceed to Checkout to complete your purchase.
Before you can check in for a service or class, you need to sign in at the business by scanning your Vagaro QR code or membership card or logging into your Vagaro account.
Even if you don't have an appointment, you can still sign in at a business to book and manage upcoming appointments.
Quickly sign in to your Vagaro account by scanning your customer QR code in the Vagaro customer app.
To scan your Vagaro QR code at a kiosk:

Open the Vagaro app, then select the Profile
button at the bottom of the screen.

On the Profile screen, select the hidden QR code at the top of the screen.

With the code revealed, hold your phone to the Check-In app scanner to scan the code.
To log into your Vagaro account at a kiosk:
-
On the kiosk's home screen, select Check in to sign into your Vagaro account.

Depending on the business's settings, either:
-
Search for and select your name in the list.
-
Enter your email address.
-
-
Enter your password and select Check In.
-
Select Done to confirm you've logged in.
Depending on the business, you may still be able to check in at a kiosk after an appointment has started. For classes, you may even be able to check in even after the class has ended.
To check in for a service or class:
-
On the kiosk's home screen, scan your QR code or membership card, or select Check in to log in to your Vagaro account.

In the list of your appointments, select the Check In button for the one you're checking in for. Classes are identified with the Class
icon.

If you have multiple appointments or classes that can be checked in today, toggle on their switches to select them, then select Check In
-
Select Done on the confirmation screen.
If you accidentally checked in for an appointment, you can undo it and check-in again later at the correct time.
To undo a check-in:
-
On the kiosk's home screen, select Check in to sign into your Vagaro account.

In your list of appointments, select the More
menu beside the appointment or class that was checked in, then select Undo Check-In. The button changes to Undo Check-In.
-
If you have multiple check-ins to undo, toggle on their switches to select them, then select Undo Check In.
-
Select Close or Check-In.
-
Select Done on the confirmation screen.
Depending on the business's cancellation policy, your appointment or class session can be canceled at a kiosk before they begin. If your appointment was already checked in, you'll have to undo the check-in before you can cancel it.
To cancel an appointment at a kiosk:
-
On the kiosk's home screen, select Check in to sign into your Vagaro account.

If you have any checked-in appointments, undo their check-ins by selecting their More button, then select Undo Check In.

Select the More
button next to an appointment or class not checked in. The Check In button changes to Cancel Appointment.

Select Cancel Class or Cancel Appointment beside the appointment. If you have multiple check-ins to undo, toggle on their switches to select them.
-
Select Close or Cancel.
-
Select Done on the confirmation screen.
Even if you don't have a scheduled service or class on the day you visit a business, you can still sign in to a kiosk to book a service or sign up for a class, maybe even the same day or shortly before it begins. If there are no timeslots that fit your schedule, you may be able to add yourself to the waitlist until a spot becomes available for you.
When you check out, you won't have to provide payment until the appointment or class session is completed.
You can schedule up to six services for a selected date.
To schedule one or more services at a kiosk:

On the kiosk's home screen, scan your QR code or membership card, or select Check in to log in to your Vagaro account.

In the bottom-right corner, select Book Now, then select Services.
-
Search for and select your service to book:
-
Select your service requirements:
-
Service: Select the service to book. If there are add-ons you can also choose, select their checkboxes, then select Continue.
-
Live Stream services show the Live Stream
icon beside it.
-
Mobile services show the Mobile Service
icon beside it.
If there are add-ons available for the selected service, select one or more, and then select Continue.
-
-
Service Provider: Select the employee to perform your service.
-
Date: Select the date and time for your service.
-
-
Optionally, select +Add Service to search for and include another service.
-
Select Search.
-
-
In the search results, select the time slot for each service you're booking.
If there aren't any timeslots available on the day you've selected, you may be able to add yourself to the waitlist.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen, select Add to Waitlist.
-
Select the service provider, desired date and time range, then select Add to Waitlist. You will receive a notification when an appointment becomes available.

In the Checkout screen, do one of the following:
-
Finalize your appointment(s) by selecting Book.
-
Modify your service options and timeslots:
-
Select < Back to return to the previous screen.
-
Select your new class and timeslot.
-
Update your options if required, then select Next.
-
Select Book.
-
-
You can book only one class session at a time.
To sign up for class session at a kiosk:
-
On the kiosk's home screen, scan your QR code or membership card, or select Check in to log in to your Vagaro account.
-
In the bottom-right corner, select Book Now, then select Classes.
-
Select a class that is scheduled for today. If the class is full, you may be able to select Add to Waitlist, and you will receive a notification if a spot becomes available.
Alternatively, you can search for and select a different class to sign up for.

At the top of the screen, select the date range you'd like to search for classes.
-
Select your class requirements:
-
Any Class: Select the class you want to attend.
-
Any Instructor: Optionally, select who you want to teach your class.
-
Live Stream and In-House Classes: Optionally, if available, select whether to attend the class remotely (online) and/or at the location.
-

Select Search.
-
In the search results, select Sign Up in the class's row. If the class is full, you may be able to select Add to Waitlist, and you will receive a notification if a spot becomes available.
-

Enter the Number Attendees and Number of Sessions you're signing up for, Where you would like to take this class, the frequency you'll be attending, and the Start Date, then select Next.
-
If there are add-ons for the class, select your options, then select Add to Cart, or select Checkout if you aren't selecting any.
-
On the checkout screen, select one of the following buttons:
-
Finalize your signup by selecting Book or Add to Waitlist.
-
Modify your class options by selecting Back to return to the previous screen.
-
Select your new class and timeslot.
-
Update your options if required, then select Next.
-
Select Checkout (or Add to Waitlist).
-

If you no longer want to be on a waitlist for a service or a class, you can remove yourself from the list at a kiosk so you won't be contacted if an appointment that meets your requirements becomes available. You will have to search for the appointment again or speak to an employee to add yourself back to the waitlist.
You may be able to schedule a booking if an appointment is also currently available.
To remove yourself from a waitlist:

On the kiosk's home screen, select Check in to sign into your Vagaro account.

In the row of the waitlisted appointment, select Remove from Waitlist.
Tip
If the Book now is button is displayed, you can schedule an available appointment right away.

Select Remove to confirm.
Some businesses require a membership to be their customer, and others may just offer them for purchase when you book an appointment or class session.
If you are not shown the option to purchase a membership during the registration process but are notified that you need one, speak with an employee or visit the business's online booking page to purchase one.
If the business requires a membership to book an appointment or sign up for a class, you will be prompted to select one.
To buy a membership at registration:

On the kiosk's home screen, scan your QR code or membership card, or select Check in to log in to your Vagaro account.

In the Membership Required popup, select Explore Memberships.
-
In the list of memberships, scroll through the available memberships, then select Add to Cart for the one you want.
-
Scan the code on the back of an unused membership card using the kiosk's camera, then select Continue.
-
Follow the prompts to complete your registration.
-
Review and confirm that your information is correct, then select Done.
-
In the Checkout screen, select Proceed to Checkout and complete your membership purchase.
Depending on the business, you may be prompted to purchase a membership before you can check in, book an appointment, or sign up for a class if you don't already have one with the business. You may have the option to renew or purchase a new membership at the kiosk, or buy one by speaking with an employee or going to their Vagaro listing page.
To buy a membership when you check in at a kiosk:

On the kiosk's home screen, scan your QR code or membership card, or select Check in to log in to your Vagaro account.

In the Membership Required popup, select Explore Memberships.

Select the membership to purchase.

Scan your membership card or ask an employee to give you a new card to be scanned, then select Continue.

If you have the option to Share with Family & Friends, select the checkbox, choose your members, then select Proceed to Checkout to complete your purchase.
Depending on the business, you may be prompted to renew your membership if you check in, book an appointment, or sign up for a class if you have an expired, suspended, or cancelled membership. You may have the option to renew or purchase a new membership at the kiosk or buy one by speaking with an employee or going to their Vagaro listing page.
To renew or purchase a new membership at a kiosk:

On the kiosk's home screen, scan your QR code or membership card, or select Check in to log in to your Vagaro account.

In the Membership Expired popup, select Renew Membership.
Note
If you only see OK in the popup, you will have to speak with an employee or visit the business's Vagaro listing page to purchase one.

Select the membership to purchase.
-
To renew your expired membership, select Add to Cart for the one that shows Expired over it.

To choose a new membership, select Add to Cart for a different one.

Scan your membership card or ask an employee to give you a new card to be scanned, then select Continue.

If you have the option to Share with Family & Friends, select the checkbox, choose your members, then select Proceed to Checkout to complete your purchase.
